Yep...

I got an antifreeze leak coming off the inlet line going to the turbo. It's not bad where it's leaking out, down to the ground, but its got that green crustation around the inlet tube and antifreeze all over the engine under where the tube connects to the feed line :(

I will post some pics later on tonight when I can get to it!!

DAMN IT

Just like mine did. 'Never saw any coolant on the ground, though.

This pick was taken by Arunto (thanks!)

Mine was leaking up across from the bov. The clamp was replaced.

(by the way,,,,,what does that signature mean? I have seen that somewhere else, as well)

(doh) sorry funnylittlman that sucks. Should be a relatively easy fix though. As I recall your pretty much stock so no fears dealing with the stealership service dept which is a plus. Let us know if they get you fixed up a-okay and any insight if they have any insight as to why it's happening to so many MSP's.

Will do Heathen... they'll probably tell me that it's just a characteristic.. or not even see the leak (dumb asses)

AGR,
REMillers had it, so I took the test and got that as well. click on the test to find out what it is (I really don't know what cartoon it is, just thought it would be ok as a sig since I'm tired of my other ones :D )

As do the rest of us Greg. I think I need to start another thread called "I got the leak" but it is a result of greg's sig not leaky coolant lines;)

awww man you're missing out if you don't know what initial d is. it's an anime based on drift racing through mountain passes...yeah they actually do this stuff in real life...freakin crazy. but it's like half anime half computer animation....the cg is actually quite good. first season was 26 eps i think (i have them all, just not at my computer), second season was 13 or 14....it wasn't as long, and then there's the movie and then a special episode. and if you think that a tuned AE86 can't beat a skyline....haha, i got a vid where tsuchiya keiichi waxes a r34 with his modded hachi-roku :D it's one of my favorite animes. sorry for the stray from the thread :p

initial d rules! ive only seen parts of the movie, but its awesome. The cars are awesome, the racing is cool, and they pay attention to every little detail of how a real driver drives.

if the clamp is the problem, then im on my way to autozone to replace the clamps. Ive already replaced the BPV clamps, and looking to do some other stuff this weekend. So i'll check into this.

No offense, but I'm not really a fan of any sig that is bigger than one "screen full". It's just a nuisance to scroll by...esp if it's the sig of a post whore. :p

Anway, funnylittleman - Are you running above stock boost? If so, that's a possible cause of the leak...

Kooldino,

Nope I'm as stock as can be (not even a K&N Flat panel)
:D

They can't argue w/ this one!

Ditto for me too. Got exactly the same leak and didn't even notice it until I changed oil and was crawling underneath -- then I saw a BUNCH of dried-on coolant to various parts. DAMMIT! Haven't had time to take it to the stealer (2 hour drive 1 way) or fix it myself -- especially because the coolant reservoir was/is WAY over-filled when I drove it off the lot. I'm just figuring the damn stealer will blame it on that and not even replace the clamp.

Just wrap a rubber band around the end and go get a shot.

***UPDATE***

I went to the dealer this morning and assumed it was just the clamp: well it was more than that. The entire hose has to go. They are ordering a new one directly from Mazda and the old one will be sent back to them (I'm guessing they are gonna throw it at the MSP Team... right at their heads! :D j/k)

So I'm w/o my black beauty for at least 1 day... they said I should get her back tomorrow...

Now I'm in a Mitsu Lancer....and it's really not THAT bad... but I do miss my speed :(
