So.....

I was interested to know if Newf's car is experiancing the famous clunk or the hesitation yet :)

yes Newf still likes his car

I thought I heard the clunk once or twice, but then again, the sub enclosure might have been what I heard...it was subtle. In fear that I might jinx my luck, that's all I will say on that :)

I don't know if I'm just paranoid about this hesitation thing, and I'm not sure if I have it or if I have a leak in the turbo. I posted a thread on this in the FI section but never really got any help. I told the dealer about what I'm experiencing with acceleration, but I'm half wanting to get them to take a look, and I'm half scared to let them look.

But, this car is the bomb so far. VERY VERY happy. If it stays the way it is right now, I'll love it forvever. If I see problems with it like the rest of you guys, then she's gone, and this will be my last MAzda forever.

That is a good thing...

ON the hesitation it took a little while to show up.....the car has to be fully warmed up before it appears...that is why my dealer thinks it is lag...I am going in for the 8000 km service...

I am going to try the cover the intake and see what happens....

You know, I really dislike page-long sigs, but for some reason AGR#7's is quite tolerable... ;)

And I LOVE my ride. I'm almost at 4,000 mi.

agrs sig- best SIG evar!

back to hesitation.
My car is still going through break in.. 217 miles and counting! But ive taken it to 5000 once in 2nd gear, and with the a/c on, i thought i mightve felt a stumble, but.. i dunno. It was pretty hot and the a/c was crankin.
And newf, keep the car! If you read the Joes FPR works thread, then get one, 25 bucks may be a price we shouldnt have to pay, but i think its worth it, im ordering mine tomorrow.

I got the FPR and MBC but havent had time to put them in yet. I do get the stumble but it isnt crippling or anything. Just annoying. But I sure hope the FPR makes it go away! :)
