This is RIDICULOUS.

I went to www.importtuner.com and pulled up this article for the new Civic Si:

CIVIC SI (http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0307it_ppcivic/)

Here's the dyno:

They put on a K&N Typhoon Intake, DC Header, and Tanabe exhaust totalling a whopping $1401.32 and they only got 13.6 HP outta the car

WTF?

I'm so glad that Joe MBC is like 25 bucks and we can get more than that outta our cars! :D

EAT THAT SLIVICS! (laugh)

funnylittlman - be careful when feeding that boost junkie inside ;) too much boost w/o the right support and "boom". Won't hear that from a N/A car ;)

N/A cars are much more expensive to build, $/hp costs way more as you'll have to employ many more techniques to extract the extra power. Our SCCA Touring Car Subaru EJ25 motors cost about $15,000US and make ~260awhp in a Impreza RS. The stock motor can only put down 98awhp.

Yeah, you are right ION...

I used to have a 99 Maxima, and to get any serious gain, I was going w/ the V2 Supercharger from Stillen.... It has FMU and everything...

I never got it installed... oh well

With an N/A 4 banger, $100 per HP is pretty common.
