Hello all, I have now worn out my brake pads and will be replacing them soon. Then I thought why not put different rotors on as well. Has anyone changed their rotors yet or have any feedback on parts for me. thanks(mspo)

BeamerKillr - we have a 13" 4pot BBK available for the MSP :) in-fact some of the fellow board members asked us to host a GB for them. Here's the link -> http://www.msprotege.com/vbb225/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24511

wow, must be rough on those brakes :)
I'm at 30k miles and still have plenty of brakes left on the first set...(I must drive slow :D)

Actually you Mazda guys have pretty good stock brakes. You should see how many Subarus have smoked rotors & pads in less then 3 months. Can you say "Rally On" ;) :D

im at 22000 and the front are getting very low, prolly a change coming at 25000. i use the clutch sometimes if i need to slow down only a bit.

yeah I should but see we are near Alabama and those lovely people from Phenix City Drive with there heads up their collective asses, so brakes are used a lot.

I agree ION: our brakes aren't that bad, we do however have some bad brake fade at High speed.

I guess I do downshift quite a lot...thus my brakes are rarely used...most of the miles are highway and no real stop and go at all otherwise, if at all...

My brakes are still good, its my front tires that need replacing. Probably get the rest of the summer and fall outta them. Stupid soft Z rated tires, making me go around corners all fast and crazy.

What about the "carbon fiber" or whatever brake pads? Are they worth it?
