bushing????

Can somebody tell me which bushing are you talking about when you write "rear bushing"...please somebody help me because that clunck is going to make me crazy !! :confused:

i belive but not sure it is the bushings that the sway bay sits in.

I could use a tip as well. I filed a complaint w/ Mazda and they called the dealership. Dealership called me... now I am taking it in on Tues. It would be nice if I could tell them precisely what is wrong so that they don't monkey w/ anything that they do not need to.

The problem is from the rear bushing that hold the sway bar to the car. The rubber bushing is a bit too slack and thats what make the noise.

I haven't experienced that clunking sound and I have about 6000 miles on my car. How many people out there have actually experienced this? I've seen at least 6 or 7 that are hearing it. Is it a quiet noise or would I definitely hear it if it occurred? Just trying to get an idea if I need to be worried about this.

You would know it when you heard it. We had a previous post about this and had about 50 replies I think. I think it's happening on more cars though as it has been reported on many posts. I have had it since day one (in June) and it's still there. I know there was someone a while ago talking about using the Lemon Law in their state, did anything ever come of that??

I have experienced the clunking sound in the front around 20-30k miles and was fixed under warranty...now i hear the clunking sound in the rear and i have 70k miles....i really want to get it fixed...that noise is loud n embarrassing, hehe....so if anyone can help me with getting a tsb# that would be great!!!! And again mazda told me it was the sway bar bushings!!!
