MP3 Racecar

Is this anyone on this board. From what the auction says is this person bought a wrecked MP3 with 256 miles on it. They are going to make it into a racecar. The auction is selling the complete system out of the car. Just wanted to know if this is anyone from this site. Would like to see the car. what the hell is going on? don't you realize what we have here? 1 of 1500!! I would be devastated if I wrecked my mp3. Its no wonder our rates are high for this car!!

I would hope that if I wreck my car it was my fault. If it was someone elses, they would be wishing they died in the crash. I'd beat them with broken carparts. :) Ok maybe not, but I'd sure be really pissed. If it were my fault, I hope I was doing something schweeet!
...and I love the high rates bit. :) My insurance agent listed it as a regular protege (not sure which model). Cheap as hell. under$600/year for full coverage. Doesn't hurt that I'm 28 I guess. :)

when I insured my mp3, i gave them the vin and they knew exactly what type of vehicle I had. my ins co is geico. go figure.

uhh.. hehe you guys are all wrong.

this guy bought a Protege MP3 wrecked off ebay a couple months ago (it was that blue one with 256 miles).. and is turning it into an SCCA race car..

I bought the drivers seat from his car this Sunday for my DX, and also the floormats from the car.. a nice guy

the stereo system in the car he is selling is completely new and as he described.. I think he said he's doing showroom stock class in SCCA racing where you can only replace the drivers seat in the interior and do weight reduction stuff like stereo + a/c removing..

his car is in the shop right now having final body work done and a color scheme for the track..

I'm the only DX in this country with an MP3 drivers seat ;)

oh yeah btw if anybody in the northeast "upgrades" the front seats in their car and wants to sell off their stock passenger seat let me know I'll buy it.. I'm in Connecticut.. I'd like to have matching seats but one is good for now

Yea if anyone knows this dude please invite him to the site. I think having a MP3 racecar in the family would be sweet. I would turn my MP3 into a complete racecar but my wife would castrate me...:eek:
