Charelston, SC meet

for those of you who don't know me, i'm from daytona beach, FL, but since my army reserve unit got activated i'm living in charleston, SC. there are a few people on protegeclub who want to set up a meet for sometime between july 20th and the 24th. depending on how many people will be able to make it will determine where to hold the meet, and what to do. please post what date(s), times, etc that work for you. any suggestions on places to meet would be appreciated, since i am rather new to the area. i'll be scouting out a few places this week. charleston is about 200 miles from charlotte, where i know they've had huge meets. let's see what we can do;)

03SpeedLSD said they are having a pretty big meet in columbia on the 20th. i am assuming it's columbia, SC, which is about 100 miles from charleston. but it's closer to atlanta, as well as the ones from charlotte and other parts of NC. maybe it'll work better to scratch the charleston meet and meet up for the columbia meet and make it really huge;)

That is one week from the spool open house, and some of us are going to be heading there. I will pass the word to the club and see if I can help you guys out. If i decide to not go to the spoolin meet, I will definately be there!!!

Whoa, hold up. We're not having a meet. I'm talking about a car show and BBQ. A friend just started a new job at a speed shop, and they are puttin on a show and BBQ. All clubs from Columbia will be there, until the parkin lot fills up. Let me know if you guys wanna organize something in Cola...Later,

I'd be down for a charleston meet, but columbia is just too far for me to make a day trip. Work might play a factor in this too, you guys just figure something out, and I'll see if i can make an appearance.

would anyone prefer to have it on the 19th, then those that want to can go to columbia on the 20th? or maybe meet up earlier in the day on the 20th then ride over to columbia? any thoughts or suggestions? i'd like to check out the show 03SpeedLSD is talking about.

well, for anyone who lives more than 50 miles away, i don't plan on this being a big event. maybe around 5 cars or so. the guys on the other forum are trying to help decide what to do. if it's just a few of us, we'll probably just meet up for lunch or something like that.
