Why Mazdaspeed motorsports offers the Basics of the MSP turbo kit, but leave Intercooling, cooling, and Engine mgt out of the kit ? Could it be that they see the FUCKED UP issues we have with all 3 of those aspects, and dont want to deal with it on an aftermarket basis?
That just pisses me off to no end, and makes me think twice again, why I picked the MSP over the SRT-4, which BTW, has MUCH MUCH MUCH more support by MOPAR, and DCX, then the MSP has (which is none) (mad)

I hope the reason they left all of those out is because they are working on upgrades for us ;)
but then reality sets in :( and I doubt that it will happen

Ummmm, Im not talking about a TURBO upgrade, Im talking about Larger cooling capasity, larger Intercolling capasity, ECU's with different mapping. Stuff like that.
Besides a t-3 is just not really an efficient turbo for the FS engine. (sorry Terry, more my opinion then anything. :D ) A simple t-28 is more then enough for a good 250-300 whp protege. :D
When dealing with a turbo, size does not always matter. :D Its all about volume of air, and how efficiently you can move it.
i'll say it agian.. SPOOL MAKES A UPGRADE, u dont have to buy all the parts just buy what you want :)

a t-28 will bolt right up to the current manifold in the MSP. Spoolings FMIC kit is designed for a t-3, that wont bolt up. I think your missing the whole point. ITS GOOD TO HAVE THE MFR, OR RACING SUPPORT DIVISION OF YOUR MFR, SUPPORT THE VEHICLE. Parts are warrantied, most of the time, when installed by a certified service dept also. If the MFR does not support its own product, like NISMO AND TRD, kinda makes you wonder.
oh well -shrugs.. im gonna be upgrading eventually but not to a t3 or t4. i dont wanna upgrad the turbo i think ppl dont give the t-25 enuf credit.

I never said the t-25 was a bad turbo. Its just not efficient enough for what I will be doing with my car. :D
i think joe p has proven alot of its capability that alot of ppl didn't think it had.
and id rather take my small turbo and kick someones ass pop open the hood and them go OMG you have a small turbo and i can sell well its not the size that matters it what you do with it ;op haha.

the reason the MSP has a small I/C and crappy stuff is becuz Mazda was stuck with that becuz they are forced to use the Euro-Spec turbo diesel Protege parts stuff. It was either that or we wouldn't have the awesome suspension. But other than that I don't know why Mazdaspeed hasn't done anything else extra, it's probably because Ford is screwing them over.
