more like they're trying to empty out inventory for the upcoming Mazda3
to add fuel to the fire, MazdaUSA has announced 0% financing for 60 months on all Protege5s :D

I could have got a really really good deal on another PR-5 (my wife has a 2002) back in Feb with 0% and the S-Plan discount but the MSP won out.
I guess it was bound to happen they've got to move the cars and if they don't sell then they are discounted.
Too bad we missed out allthough the dealer took a grand off for me.

So, the car lists for around 20,500? $1500 mark-up minus the $1500 rebate, one could literally buy it at $17,500 then.

i'm sure you could probably get our black msp for $1,000-$500 over invoice...we're located 1.5 hrs south of atlanta...i'm positive i can get my manager to cut some more off too...i don't know what i can get done on the '03.5 msp.

I would be interested to see if Canada would offer this. The 03.5's are 28,520 and I think it is a little over the limit to pay for the car. 27k is ok but the local dealer seems to not want to move either.

rofl topher, i got the back for 900 under invoice. with this rebate you should be doing alot better than that.

Maybe waiting will pay off for me.
Does this apply to 2003.5 titaniums and if so would i be eligable if I contracted my car in mid june but havent picked it up yet? Also is there somewhere I can find this on the official mazdausa website?

Dammit this pisses me off. And when did I close out on my Speed?? Yesterday 6/30... damn I dont know if I should complain since the guy was consistent on closing out before July since they couldnt offer me this and that.

I emailed my Mazda Dealer here in NJ a few miles from me, this was there response.
Joshua,
My name is Amanda May and I work at Crystal Auto Mall in Green Brook, NJ. Your interest in the Mazdaspeed Protege is appreciated. You heard correctly.....for the month of July there is a $1500 rebate on the Mazdaspeed Protege's. As of this mailing we have (2) of the Speed Protege's available, both of which are the Titanium Gray. Both obviously, will be equipped identically, and list at $21,000.
If you have any questions, and if I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me. I can be reached by email or directly, at 732-968-1000 x233.
Thank you,
Amanda
I think I'll be joining the MSP crowd here in July if I can sell my Civic or trade it in :D Now I'm all excited!

well, if you consider $500 over invoice + the $1500 rebate, it's not a bad deal...that'd put the selling price at $17,586 plus tax, tag, title, and all that crap.

i just got off the phone with mazdausa. they say there is no rebate available. the only thing available is 1.9% financing. that offer is available till the end of july. i asked the guy to double check, and he said there is NO other offer available. he did ask me what area i lived in. maybe this thing is done by area. hmmm. i was about to call and yell at my dealer because i just bought my car 7 days ago., but i decided to call mazdausa first so i didnt sound like an idiot. boy, am i glad that i did.

leonardo, obviously he was telling you the june offers if he told you the 1.9 ended in july. tell him you want the july offers, not the june.
