So how does this thing come out. I dont want to just start prying on it, cause that would probably just lead to something bad. So give me some help here guys....

i just took a real small straight slot to the side of it, and it poped right out. You have to remove the silver cover piece first.

push your vents so they are aiming at the roof. stick your fingers in there and pull out the top. Then do the bottom. If you don't remove the ac/heater wires, you wont have a ton of room to work with...

Nevermind that. Reach up underneath the dash. There are little clips on the side of the pocket. Push them in as you pull out on the pocket. Do one side then the other, but don't let the pocket slip back in after the first side. No need to remove the silver cover.
