I have a 2003.5 titanium gray metallic MSP. I was wonderin what the number our headlights are. H4? H3? 9007?
Also, with the factory turbo, can you just put a blow off valve on and nutin else, and will it help at all. Sorry I don't know shit bout engines.

Headlights - H4
Foglights - H3
blowoff valve would not work and will cause engine to stall cause you're venting air into the atmosphere, this causes misscalculation of the volume of air in the computer.
get an aftermarket BYPASS valve (bypassvalve is what MSP has, but tiny).
and the aftermarket one is only useful if you're raising the boost.

Also you cant install a BLOWOFF valve on the factory setup - u need metal pipes to weld the blowoff valve to. MSP has plastic ones.

Thanks alot Dr. Sound. Guess I won't waste my money then. I guess I don't need it and that cool sound...lol. I thought the blow off was suposed to help the trubo run better. But like I said, I don't know jack bout engines. I was always the one people came to for ICE, interior and exterior, not engines.
Does anyone know what kind of headlight bulbs these cars use? I am still tryin to figure that out.

ignorance is not the same as not knowing. hey we're all beginners at some point. gotta learn somehow. from what i've learned, apparently the stock bov/bypass/bov recirculated (whatever you wanna call it) is from the rx-7, so i doubt it's that bad of a bov. but there are ways around the welding problem too. if you did a search and read enough posts, you'll find a flange from some company...atp motorsports or something....that will bolt onto a greddy type s or hks ssqv. then just run a hose to the flange and you got a bov. just recirculate cause otherwise you'll stall.

^ that works too
from what i got out of the question poster by MazdaspeedHolla is that he wants a simple setup. My answer was to that question.
Anything can be done given time and money.......

You might want to try

There you can find good explainations of how engines work and also turbos. They include good illustrations and animations. Also links. That should give you the background to understand the discussions in other threads.
