Should I trade in my MP3 for a Mazdaspeed or should I buy a spool turbo kit for the MP3. Let me know your opinions.

can u maintain the turbo kit yourself? Or is there someone in town that can?

I say buy the spool turbo kit. More potential for power, less money, better experience with car (installing turbo), and a more unique vehicle!

in my case, it was about a 3rd the cost to buy the speed over getting the kit and installing it and I still didn't have any way of tuning it, or maintaining it. So, price is different for everyone

yah...if you plan on doing some of the maintenance on the car yourself...go for the spool...if you get the mazdaspeed all you do is get a new car with new parts that are gonna be replaced anyways...

I should be able to maintain the kit I have friends that are mechanics. This will be my only mode of transportation b/c my truck died so I do not know if I should buy the speed. I don't know if the spool kit will give my car problems.

look at the other things too tho...
Better Stereo, and LSD, aside from the turbo.
Spolls kit will give you more boost, yes, but the MSP is fully covered under the factory warranty.
On a personal note, the 2003.5 Yellow MSP is a real pale yucky yellow, and the spoiler is much too large, course I think my MP3's spoiler is too big also:)

thats why i got the LSD and added an amp!!

Yup...I dun suggest people trade off the MP3 of a MSP....buynig 2 brand new cars in 2 years, waste too much money....
plus, both car are very similiar.

My Mp3 will be mine in less than 2 years so I think its spool kit all the way. Thanks guys for your opinions.

I made the mp3, and it is good, but I shall boost it, to make it hotter.
