I saw a black mazdaspeed there with a slight tint to it and a very small "zoom zoom" sticker on the back, who's car was that?

God that's way to early to be trying to performance drive. Have fun, there's lots to do and tons of cars to drive. I drove a Miata 6spd, it was damn cool, other than I got yelled at for "performance shifting it" I kinda peeled out and then chirped the tires when I shifted into second.

I ran a 41 somthin, my second run, wish I had more time with the car, probably woulda gotten the sport shift down a little better. I had more fun I think doing the test drive of the other cars and messing around on the practice courses.

I don't remember a mazdaspeed being up there, musta just missed it. Yeah thats pretty much what I got yelled at for in the miata, boy there so picky, it's not like there going to actually try and sell those cars, I'm sure everyone and there mother has driven them hard, and the best are the people who drove the 6spd miata who don't even know how to drive stick. One guy couldn't even get it moving, he was a lot harder on the clutch than I was peeling out and hard shifting it.

Hey, just got back from the Chicago- Rev It Up event.
What a blast !!!! Where else can you have so much fun all day for $39 ? I think that I got an ok time for my first "Autocross".
My first Lap I got a 45.3, second lap I got a 40.64. Now I just wish I would have been able to take two more laps, I may have been down to 30 sec....lol
It was good to see Dexter there, and finally saw another spicy orange Speed in the lot, two more to be exact ,another Illinois and a Michigan. Still only makes two Spicy Orange for Illinois, so far.:D I also ended up winning a pair of tickets to my choice of event up at Great Lakes Dragaway, for answering a trivia-type question correctly.
I cant wait to start autocrossing now, Im hooked !!!
P.s.- I also saw a(puke)yellow Srt-4 in the lot, in back of my Speed....
All I can say is "I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED" !!!
*mazdaspeed slogan courtesy of AGR#7-thanx Greg.*

Today was just loads of fun! Ran into a guy w/ a Yellow MP3 from home, and was next to some guy from Lansing in line to race. Also met a guy who was waiting for an MSP, but got a white 6S (that's his name now, white6s). That was my car that you left the note on, Dex, wish we could have met up and hung out. I was wearing the BRIGHTEST orange shirt ever ... ya see me?
Anyway, first run was 39 soemthin, but I hit a cone so it was 41.xxx - sucks. Second run I wasn't nervous and ran a 38.81!!! First autox ever, and I may be hooked, too.

Yeah Dex, it probably was. I parked in what was like the first row (right after you get in the gate) and it was the only black speed with Wisconsin plates that I saw. My first run was a 39 even, and my second run was a 38.41. I had a blast!
I wish I knew who to look for when I was there so I could meet you guys. I did however get to meet a few sweet looking ladies today!

Thanks for getting me up on the board ZoomZoom. Anyone know if the coarses are step up simular as far as lap times go? What was the pro driver index @ Chi town?
I believe the driver index changes from day to day. Track temperature, condition, and humidity effect the car's performance. I had my best time of 40.573 sec on Friday at 2:20.
As I told ZoomZoomH, the track was starting to get torn up over time. Tell me if this wasn't more fun than Great America, Cedar Point, Disneyland, and Camp Snoopy rolled up in a big burrito?

I know the pro driver index changes all day long but ours was pretty much within a couple seconds all day. Our PDI was around 33 sec while I was there all morning and afternoon. It was right at 33 sec when I ran my second lap at just under 36 secs... which got me a pat on the back. But it was by far the best time I've had in a long time. You just can't beat driving a brand new Mazda 6 like you just stole it!
