For once, it's nice to be old! My husband and I are late 20's and early 30's have the MSP and a 2002 MPV and our insurance is about $100 month. We have higher than average coverage with low/average deductibles. We also have our home ownder policy at the same company so that helps too. Makes me fear my two little boys turning 16. YIKES!!!

I'm paying $207 a month. And that is with a clean record.

Of course, being a 20 year old male with a brand new car doesn't help.

We pay about 133.00$ a month for our coverage through Allstate. I hate insurance I think that the insurance industry and the trail Lawyers are draining the economic life from our country.
Tort reform has just been passed into law here in Texas and I for one am glad. Now we need to cut the nuts off the insurance lobby. None I mean none of you young people should be raped so bad for insurance unless you have a proven history of risk: speeding, wrecks, reckless driving and a disregard for safety.
I am sick of the economic rot that the insurance companies produce. They are a blight on our society. I pay about 9 thousand dollars a year towards various insurance I get nothing for it just the ability to comply with a government mandate and a worthless bit of medical / home coverage that the insurance companies will try to deny at the drop of a hat if something "really bad" ever happens. To hell with these vampires we need a wooden stake in the shape of a serious insurance reform bill. The Nightstalker of the working man's pocketbook needs to be slain.

Right on, Damn the man.
It is to bad that we are stuck with no fault in MI, that does not help.
