Ever since I bought my MazdaSpeed it's been nothin but bad luck. Anyone else have the same problem. If so, what?

Well, uh, you might want to clarify what exactly you mean by "bad luck"...does your car pick up an effigy doll of you and poke it with little pins in the middle of the night to make the real you go into spasms of pain, does it perform other such unlucky acts of voodoo?
in all seriousness, is it mechanical problems, accidents, tickets....what's this bad luck of which you speak?
Dexter has had some bad luck with the car....rolled it, mismatched headlights, broken subwoofer, mom drove it home from dealer....things like that.
Poor AGR #7 developed an affliction where he began to LOVE HIS MAZDASPEED
Newf had to wait for hell to freeze over to get it!! Talk about bad luck there!
I'm sure I'm missing more than a few, but people will see this thread and no doubt fill you in with some of thier sob stories too.

When I first bought it I hit a whole tire just sittin in the middle of the freeway at night while switchin lanes. 2 days back from the shop some dumbass rearended me. Then a drag racin ticket. Then the radio folded down and got stuck. Then the sub blew. And lastly, somebody broke into it and stole the radio. Can anything else happen?

Well, this last WEEK has been bad luck for ME! I got pulled over last week for speeding (82 in a 55 speed zone), AND yesterday I got pulled over AGAIN for taking a yellow light! I'm fighting BOTH tickets!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i'm sorry to say that the drag racing ticket isn't bad luck, it's your own fault.
Well the radio theft was actualy good as now your insurance will give you money to buy a decent radio instead of that POS kenwood that just breaks constantly.

My sub took a crap too, and It’s been at the dealer 3 times to correct the rattle that came after they replaced the Kenwood enclosure.
My engine runs crappy in hit & humid weather.
I have two small dents on the driver side.
My front windows squeal when they go down.

Hey I had my car for two weeks, dropped it off at the dealership to have a coolant leak looked at, along wth low oil. Overnight it was broken into and damanged serverly, it's got about 6 grand worth of damage and has been in the shop for about a week and a half.
I'm going on to a month of overnewship in which I've been able to drive the car maybe two weeks, it's only got 834 miles on it, now needs body work and interior work.
The window is a weird one, The sub is easily fixed, get a better one or reset the gains, you loose volume but not the sub.
For $170 retial you can get a JL 10W0 in JLs wedge box, always a nice package and one of my personal favorite easy upgrades.

I agree that JL is a great up grade, however for 20k the shit should work properly. They replaced the whole enclosure and I got the new style amp with it. I didn’t realize that little amp was Mosfit either .

I think more people should be looking towards the lemon laws in your states. For instance the studder, the radio, the sub, the clunk for those who have it. In IL if within one years time I were to have say the clunk looked at and fixed 4 times then I write to Mazda Corp and they are obligated to either replace my vehicle or to give me what I paid for the vehicle minus some slight usage cost. If people are that intrested in getting rid of there Speeds it may be worthwhile to look up the lemon law in your area and see what options you have.

I know a guy that has been going threw a lemon law suite with Mercedes for nine months now and it’s still not resolved. It not as easy as it seems.

It may seem difficult, but if you have the documentation showing that things have tried to be fixed and they still aren't then there is no fighting the state laws. Not to mention if your willing to get an attorney involved and depending on how much face the dealership wants to save you'll never lose a lemon law battle. I heard numerous stories from people, not on the MSP but on other cars, who have gone through the lemon law procedure and have gotten it settled without a problem. I'm sure every now and again you hear of one or two people who have major difficulties with it, but hey when was this considered a perfect world.

Don't feel bad, back in March someone broke in my MP3 and stole my radio. Now I have a better kick-ass system as a result. I have had 3 engines to boot.

I had to get a new windshield...and insurance wouldn't pay for it.
