Here it is all. I guess Ill take the duties as the MSprotege/Protege5/Mazdamp3.com NOPI NATIONALS event coordinator. :D

The show is Spetember 20-21 of this year. goto www.nopi.com to get more info and register for the show.

First, fot those whoe do not know me, my name is Craig, and Im from Pittsburgh Pa. I own a Spicy Orange MSP.

Fisrt, there are many people here that already have made reservations at ATL. It would appear the hotel to stay at would be:

YOU MUST BE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS, MANY PEOPLE WANT TO GO, BUT MY 10 RESERVATIONS NEED TO GOTO PEOPLE WHO WILL COMMIT TO THIS. You can also reserve a room on your own there if you wish. Also, If you take one of my reservations, you MUST check in by 6 pm on friday ther 19th. If not the rooms will be lost. I also reserved the rooms until monday, but you are not required to stay that long.

Next, if you register for the show under msprotege.com mazdamp3.com or protege5.com, along with ******** and Intense performance Madza club, I have cooredinated with NOPI to make sure we will all be grouped together.

damn why a hotel at the airport, and about 30 minutes from the racetrack, sorry just wondering. I live about 45 minutes from the track and work in atlanta, and go by that hotel almost daily. I know there are other hotels specifically on tara blvd, or hwy 19/41, also for the people coming from the southside, check around McDonough, or hwy 155, somewhere around there. Anyways hope to see all you guys at the show, i am undecided as to if i want to show my car or just go in.

Oh yeah I couldn't stand the drive last year, I've never seen so many cars! And there were a bunch of Civics that kepy cutting in front of people every opportunity they got and letting their fellow club members in front of them. We're going up early to enter and clean the cars up. So I HOPE it isn't that bad.

When you goto the NOPI site to register, you can pick a club to register with. If your not a member of ******** or Intense performance, you will need to check with them to register, but you can register for msprotege.com protege5.com or mazdamp3.com without any problems. Antione hooked that up for us. :D

Again, I still got 9 rooms left at the hotel hit me up at sportuningguru@yahoo.com to get one, or you can probably still get one yourself there. All the info is up top :D

thanks guys, i havent decided yet, but i probably will as i will have several other buddies that are showing "other" vehicles with bowties on them, but anyhow there is a price difference for showing and not, the tickets are usually $40 per person per weekend, but if you show it is $70 for the weekend, also i guess i would register under protege5.com? and another thing one person gets to ride in with you for free i beleive it has been that way in the past i would have to call nopi and ask but i think you can do it that way, so really you are paying 70 for two people for the weekend and front row parking at the show, but i dunno i am sometimes paranoid of people i know of people stealing shit at the show and stuff, so i will have to see. But if a person gets to ride in for free then most likely i will show.

vlad, no worries. we'll put marisa in my hatch if you have to pay extra for her. boostisgood, i speak for everybody in the club i am in when i say thanks for organizing for the proteges to be together in the club area. now, since i registered for the mazda section do i have to let somebody at nopi know that i want to be in the clubs area with other pro's or will they figure it out???????

i spoke to somebody at the days inn hotel yesterday. they said only 2 rooms were left (there are 200 rooms in a hotel). so if anybody needs a room, please let boost know. LETS STAY TOGETHER :)
and oh yeah, if anybody wants to register under our club name (intense performance) please let DEVL323 know before hand. this is just so we know who you are and to be able to stay in contact.

they will send you the pass in the mail, most likely. I know that they do the georgia residents unless you register last minute then they will give it to you at the gate. it should come with the pass and a map to show you were to park at.

Whats up everyone ... as always, I will be there. Not sure on where im parking yet -- it will either be in the vendor area, on the pavement in front of the vendors (behind the main stage) .. or with the Protege section.

Ill post info ASAP on the hotel I am staying at (hopefully) ... its like 10 mins (if that) from the track and right on the main road (19/41). Plus, there is a gas station very close by with water hookups to wash the rides the night before. Great cruise spot too with plenty of places to grab some food.

Id love to have a few of you at the hotel with us.

We are leaving Thursday morning ( 10am ) and driving straight down to GA .. should arrive around midnight. That means we have all day Friday to sleep in, wash and detail the car, and then relax and party a bit Friday night. Saturday morning we will be up early and at the track since we dont want to wait in line for HOURS to get in.

Might I suggest if you guys want to meet up Sept. 19th(Friday) at around 8pm-9pm so we all know who's showing, I have a place. It just so happens my folks stay 20mins away from Atlanta Motor Speedway which means free room and board for me. ;)

Early Saturday morning, we meet up again at the same lot and caravan to the show. There aren't any abandoned lots around there but there is a huge one that's empty half the time. It's right in front of Ashley's Furniture store(1930 Mt Zion Rd, Morrow, GA 30260-3316). Here's a link for directions from there to AMS.

If you are all meeting up around 8 pm Friday night by your hotel, would you be willing to caravan out towards the track and meet up with me and all go out for dinner?

I only ask this because alot of the cars will be cruising the road (14/91 iirc) by the track and will be at the Super Street party going on at AMS. This is a good chance to be seen as a group.

Grass imho is bad for a few reasons. The main reason is the fact that the grass isnt that smooth and you run the risk of bottoming out or ripping off body kits. The other reason is you could possibly have to deal with mud.

As far as a meet goes if you plan on going down town to buckhead you will have to pay 10bucks for parking and Atlanta PD just recently set up the buckhead task force wich could mean more road blocks. There is the old georgia convention center, and a old empty resturant. The hotels usually dont have very big lots, and i dont know how many peeps they will tolerate. Well see what happens. Those cars are hottt!! Ummm, Motegi is between Ft. Myers and Tampa and she is meeting us at the junction where the Turnpike merges into I-75..... we want to beat the West Palm Beach as well as Orlando morning rush hour traffic so we are leaving Ft. Lauderdale at 4am. of course we care if you stop by. we WANT you to come. thats what the meet is about, to get the protege and mazda owners together to enjoy each other company, learn about cars and mods and help each other. the more mazdas the better. if this works out and you georgia people come and ******** makes it then this will be the closest meet to a national protege meet anybody ever got to. florida, georgia, north carolina, south carolina and hopefully many other states represented. doesn't matter how good or bad your pro looks, if it runs, make sure you come to the meet at the hotel.

Motegi I registered at the main Nopi store here in Atlanta the guy said that they would call me with a confirmation number. Just incase I had any problems. Last year I registered and they didn't even have my information in the system. The only thing that saved me a hassel was I had my friend that use to work at Nopi make a copy o fmy entry form. I am just trying to save myself some trouble because I hate to be hasseled specially when I go out of my way to make sure everything is right.

i dont understand why they didnt give you your reg # while you were there? You can go on their site and verify that you are registered, just look for your name. heres the link.

Also .. Mike ... in the 3rd pic down that you posted, I was parked right behind and to the left the winners circle (checkered sign) in front of that building. This year my parking spot is on the blacktop to the right of it.

FIRST OFF!! VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!! TODAY IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY TO REGISTER SO THAT TICKETS CAN BE MAILED TO YOU AT HOME!!!! FROM TOMORROW, YOU"LL HAVE TO GET 'EM AT THE SHOW!!! SAVE YOURSELF A MEGA HASSLE AND REGISTER TONIGHT IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO ALREADY!!!

So I finally got a hold of Jill at NOPI Corporate and we talked for a good 20 minutes. A girl called Andrea who is mostly in charge of the show, still needs to call me back since she knows more than Jill about our situation. I left her a nice long voicemail so lets hope for the best. We managed to kinda get things a bit straightened out, but apparently Andrea is the girl who can "make things happen" (i wonder if these girls are really cute).
Back when boostisgood was in contact with NOPI, thats when Andrea started planning on how to squeeze us in so that we can all be parked together; all the club/messageboard entrants.
There is posibility for a problem though. They cannot promise me that we will ALL definitely be parked together. Where the problem lies is in the volume of people showing this year. Jill tells me that so far more people have entered than there were last year up until the first day of the show (and last year they set a record # of entries). And then on Saturday last year a whole bunch more that camped out over there were lined up to register.
She said that this might happen this year as well and gave no further comments.
As far as driving around during the show like on a parking lot like last year, its not gonna happen.
As soon as Andi calls me back i'll keep you all posted.
Whatever happens, each clubs/forum groups cars will be together.... i will make very sure of that at the least.

Okay everyone..... i have an update.......
The only way we can all be together in the same row at NOPI is by being in GREEN C (its actually a great spot, any thoughts?)

So i need to know who has gotten their packets and on the ticket it does NOT say GREEN C....
in that case, we HAVE to meet up before the show (Friday night at our hotel there is a large Protege meet, this is a good opportunity)

I am getting in the mail from Andrea, GREEN C stickers to replace the ones on your tickets now so that you can move to our row..... PLEASE post or PM me ASAP... i need to know if i will have the correct number of GREEN C stickers.
So far about a half-dozen ******** cars are in GREEN C and all the Intense Performance cars as well........

Other info from Andrea:
* Any beer/beverages in glass will be confiscated... even bottles o' Cris
* 14" x 14" or smaller coolers ONLY will be allowed.... trunks will probably be checked
* Green sticker Proteges in our group will be allowed to enter the show through the vendor entrance on the SE corner if we want to
* Not too many spots left for us in GREEN C, but she'll squeeze us if she has to
* If you haven't yet registered, you cannot register for GREEN C online, you need to register in yellow etc. and then let me know so i can call Andrea to move you to GREEN C
