Does anyone know the chassis code (or number) for the mazdaspeed? I know it is the same as the Famila.. but couldnt find the number.

What are the chassis designations for the Protegé?
BG refers to the 1st generation Protegé (7th generation Familia) and 323.
BG6S refers to the 1.6 liter NA DOHC engine 323 hatchback (B6 engine)
BG6P refers to the 1.6 liter NA DOHC engine Protegé (B6 engine)
BG8P refers to the 1.8 liter NA SOHC & DOHC engine Protegé (B8-ME & BP-ZE engine)
BG8R refers to the Familia (4 dr) GT-X 4WD 1.8 liter turbo (BP-ZET engine)
BG8Z refers to the 323 GT-X and GT-R 4WD 1.8 turbo (BP-ZET engine)
BHA refers to the 2nd generation Protegé (8th generation Familia).
BHAxS and BHAxZ refers to the 323 hatchbacks
BHALP refers to the 1.5 liter Protegé
BHA8P refers to the 1.8 liter Protegé
BJ refers to the 3rd generation Protegé & Protegé 5 (9th generation Familia)
BJFP refers to the 2.0 liter Protegé (FS engines)
BJFW refers to the 2.0 liter Protegé 5 (FS engines)

so then the MSP would be BJFP? and then the number? Excuse my ignorange... I'm getting seats and they need this number for thr bracket, this is all new to me

Yes, the MSP is the BJFP chassis.

What seats and seat brackets are you getting? I got Recaro SRDs with Wedge Engineering seat brackets and the brackets were a bitch to get lined up with the factory bolt holes. Modification will be required with those seat brackets.
Also, due to my autocrossing stock class "DS" I can't use my Recaros and might sell them if you are interested...
