Has anyone made a kit to replace the stock plastic pipe with a hard pipe for the IC piping?

No not for the stock intercooler. I had a custom made kit done for myself. Uses an NPR front mount intercooler...Later,

that you'll have to take up with him. i'm sure for a small additional cost he'd be able to work with something out with you. be patient and see what happens with it first

i'de rather have it ceramic coated and ordered with a side of heat wrap

yeah but how much does heat wrap actually help and heat wrap is ugly.

who cares!! that stuff helps out. I have heard that it reduces intake temp. about 20 degrees or so.

yeah, the heat wrap helps reduce heat A LOT.... you wouldnt have to wrap the whole piping.. just like,, the first 6 or so inches from the turbo both ways, intake and down pipe.. that is what I want to do,, but I really dont think wraping the plastic pipes would be worth it so I will prolly just wrap the down pipe and maybe the exhaust side of the turbo..
