yeah but my personal preference is eibach has a lifetime warranty against sagging. tein only has 1 year. eibach drops it 1.3 front and 1.7 rear tien does it 1.5 and h&r does it 1.3 front and rear. $202 for eibach $179 for h&r eibach camber bolt $25
tein $220

actually now looking at the eibach im wondering why is the rear lower? i think its for the ES/LX/DX... Id get the H&R since the msps have less gap on the rear already and needs the front lowered. better yet buy the Tein Super Street Full Coilover!

That measurement is probably what it drops the standard Protege. The MSP will not drop that much since it is already lower. It will not make the car lower in the back than the front :).

see joe the weird thing is that in the eibach product catalog it says 1.4 and 1.8 for the reg protege and on the 1.3 and 1.7 on tire rack for mazdaspeed.

Hmm.. Odd.. But you can't tell me that the MSP is only.1 inch lower than the regular protege? Is it just the wheels that make it look lower?

i doubt that either. unless theres 2 part #s shown for the protege and mazdaspeed. i dont have the updated catalog to show the 03s. so only way is to contact eibach directly.

I can't really understand why you'd want to mess with an already excellent suspension setup? Are you going for looks or an actual improvement? It seems that lowering the car any more will just make the ride more harsh.

Tein has had poor customer service in the past... if that matters, think twice about them: you can't count on them to keep their word... :(

Wow, that's new news. My roomate had a problem with his Type Flex suspension so he called Tein and they helped him out in very little time. I've spoken to them my self several times about the SS Coilovers way before they were ever released and I had nothing but good conversations with one of their technicians.
Anyway, definately go for the full coilover setup. You won't be disappointed with them. Do understand that you will probably have a slightly stiffer ride and that should be expected.

It's possible my issues with them were an isolated case: I asked for a quote on some replacement parts, and then they refused to honor the quote they gave me. Left a REAL BAD taste in my mouth... (notcool)
