Ok I got tired of looking at the other intake thread, it is just mindless flaming.
I just want to know if a P5 or MP3 intake will fit our cars.
IF not I will just make my own, all I need is a pipe clamps and a filter right?(Just double checking)
Well any info would be great thanks!

Your answer lies somewhere in some thread...but instead of telling you to search...no. The other intakes won't work because they're routed completely didfferently. Check ou the pics of the new intake by injen that's on Red's car. Turboge posted the link in the GB and Intake threads.

That would be cool bcbadboy!
I'm trying to figure out if I should get the Injen or just make my own. It depends on how much gain is actually the result of the "cold air" and free flowing filter alone. The Injen goes straight from the turbo which might explain the huge HP/torque gains across the RPM band. Your dyno will tell us this unless you're doing something similar to the Injen unit.

Waking this thread back up for those that missed Steph's post in the GB thread...we are up and running. SpicyMSP has part number and is awaiting price. Should be posted by tomorrow (5/20)...hence we are on our way it seems. Don't get too antsy in your pantsies, though. But it is a good sign!

We fabricated an intake for the MSP and I currently have it on my car and am very impressed. I have pics in my signature and I am selling them for $130 shipped anywhere in the U. S. E-mail me at MemphisRacer@yahoo.com for details.

Hehe...getting any bites on those setups? Sure looks nice, but I'll just stick with the Injen...no offense meant. I just want the full hard pipe to the turbo like they're doing.
On a side note...I'll be driving down to Tennessee the 6-8 of june for a wedding (Nashville). Wonder if'n I'll see any other MSPs! Yeehaw! (Sorry...damn Yankee prejudices!)
