Did anyone else hear that the Aztek won a JD Powers Award this year for best SUV, and one of the categories they used was style/looks. Is anyone else outraged by this, I mean what an ugly vehicle!! It should have been disqualifed.

First off, its not much of an SUV, more like a minivan. And you are right, it is the ugliest thing ever to hit the streets. Well I guess we now know that the people at JD power are smoking something funny.

Holy crap.... that's the ugliest car ever made. I always wonder why would buy such ugly and poor design car. I am having a hard time figure out what's on their mind. :eek:

And as a second runner-up for ugliest vehicle ever mass-produced: (drum roll, please).....The Chevrolet Avalanche! As a former Z-71 owner, I'm rather pissed that they'd have the nerve to slap a z-71 sticker on something that hideous!! :mad:

What is Chevy trying to pull with "it's an SUV and a truck"? It's just a big ugly extended cab truck with a removable back wall/window. Could you imagine being the engineer/marketing people in charge of this project trying to pitch it to the corporate people. I could see them trying to explain how this one removable wall makes it a unique, one of a kind vehicle -WHAT A JOKE!!

in the horrid-looks-unscrew-the-plate-and-set-it-on-fire category it's a tie between that fucking aztech car--they were probably trying to look "futuristic" and "modern" and I'm sure their response to criticism is "it's aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart"--and that other fucking WIERD ASS LOOKING suv that I swear to god the designers ought to be lobotomized--it has the cab of an SUV but the hood of a sedan. and it's a 2 seater... it's the suzuki x90. world's ugliest car ever.

Now will someone fucking tell me what this is? A spaceship on wheels? A guy with an SUV got rear-ended by a high truck? no joke you must be smoking some hard crack to even think this to be a nice car. the first time I saw it on the road I nearly caused an accident, that's how AMAZED I was at the horible looks of that piece of shit.

Oh my goodness...I totally agree! both cars are BUTT-UGLY!!! What's baffleing is that ppl still pay $$ for them. I wouldn't even drive one if it was free...To add to that, I am a big anti-PT-cruiser fan. It looks like a hearse!

the PT cruiser is a big piece of shit
4cyl minivan that has less power than a f'n metro...cruiser along with the azteck are one of GM's biggest downfalls...thank God mazda hasnt succomb to building ugly ass vehicles such as those...i dont want to one day regret owning something related to something so damn repulsive

lol true that it mught be ugly as hell, however if you look at if from a functionality standpoint it is very impressive, and thoughtful (still ugly though ;)) The entire marketing campaign is very small. They are relying on word of mouth to generate interest, hence the fact that it has come up in a Mazda forum, you have to respect the fact that it is working! Still an ugly car though, if you wanna see another car along the same line its from buick its called the rendevous. I think someone threw a POS at it and it rendevoued all over the car and then sold it :(
