protege 5

Hi Guys...

We are seriously thinking mp3....but seem to be moving towards the protege 5 cos of the wagon...

Any comments on fellow drivers....we live in montreal...looking for silver 5sp with roof and a/c, cassette....

ride....breaks...rattles....gas comsumption...insurance...

The extra weight is slowing it down...too bad the mp3 mods are not included and maybe a awd version in the future...

I'm into civic's and tweaked my own...but looking into mazda cos they are the only ones for now with 4 doors and a hatch, beside vw....

The P5 is awesome all around. Its only drawback is the lack of power. I'm also a bit disappointed in the fuel economy. For such low power output and ULEV engine, I sure don't get very good fuel economy (21-24mpg).

It's definitely the best car for the money - by a long shot. It's a blast to drive and it's a good solid ride. Great handling.
