I bought this piece from a company named APT its CNC machined billet and it screws onto the type S. with this all you need is to connect the BOV to the plastic piping with a hose. I Have done this and it works fine, but i decided i just like the sound of a different BOV so im gonna get a different BOV.

Here is the link to the piece:

the reason why it's running rich is because the computer has the air from the bypass valve(blow off valve) preprogramed into it. the cars run rich stock and if you take away all that air that the bypass valve is putting back in and the computer is still putting the extra fuel in for the air then it's going to run super rich.

Is that slowing me down you think?

good point about the BOV and the air. Ive also wondered that. If the computer is giving fuel based upon the air entering the system, and then you "pop off" a bunch of it down stream from the MAF isnt the fuel going to be way too much? Wouldnt it be better to put the MAF closer to the TB so it only senses actual air going into the motor?

see what i don't understand is, if you post a new thread people yell at you to use the search button. If you find the old post and ask a question in it, you get yelled at for thread necromancy...what are you supposed to do in this situation :)
