Decided on a whim to go home for lunch today.
Glad I did!
The UPS guy showed up with the Pillar Pod I ordered from Options Auto Salon...
I had to pay $42.07 for customs though... eergh
I am a bit upset that it doesn't mount on directly, but has to be mounted to the existing cover...
I also have to paint it to match, as I DO NOT want it black!
Here are the pics I know you want, and some with the gauges I have mounted in the pod.
I will post more pics of the install when it gets time for that (rain today).

Aww man....
If anybody wants to buy this in Canada.. just go to your local Car shops.. they're only $75 Canadian and you save shipping and duties!
(I got one for $35 cause I think it was a price mistake.. )

Not me, Everywhere I called was 3 - 4 weeks delivery. I didn't want to wait that long, so I spent the extra $ getting it from the US.

its called A-pillar for a reason...the reason being it replaces the entire pillar...instead of just being gauge pods

i see!
I never knew there was such a peice like that. I thought one could only get them as a 'guage pod'.

logan, get some SEM color coat spray paint, the color is light titanium and the color number is 15353. ordered mine from vinly-pro of Western PA
http://vinlypro.safeshopper.com/29/254.htm?893 (http://vinylpro.safeshopper.com/29/254.htm?893)
used it on my Autometer triple and this color matches perfectly! can't beat $6.13 for 13oz. spray can. don't have a digi cam so i got no pics, but do a search ...someone did it on a p5 (where i got the idea). also get a small strip of velcro from wal-mart to put at the top to hold it. make sure to put it underneath the weatherstripping on the doorjam and you will be fine. good luck.

Might be a stupid question, but how does it mount (aside from the Velsro mentioned in the last post)? Do you have to do any drilling into your existing A-Pillar?

That's what I don't like.
I thought it was going to be a replacement pillar cover, including the clips etc to hold it on, but you have to drill holes through both this pillar and the stock one to install come funky clips that will hold it on.
I like the velco or double sided tape MUCH better!!
I think I will do that.

albert, the instructions say to drill small holes into both the factory pillar and the autometer pillar and fasten it with the supplied caps(look like small rubber push screws). i just used the velcro because i wanted "stock-look" finish to the pillar. it is secured by the dash on bottom, velcro behind the top, and the weatherstripping on the side.
