LOL! Right! The hubby would love that. :p No, we had a death in the family, funeral was in FL and I'm all 'Let's fly! We have savings, this is an emergency!' The hubby agreed and so we did. However, it still ended up hurting us because he missed a whole paycheck. :( Then we had about $300 in NSF fees from the bank, hence about $800 in the hole. He can bring that home in a week but can't do anything when you're getting paid nothing. *sigh* I'm determined to get us back in good standing, as God as my witness, I will make it happen!!!

Well I kept looking into SCCA racing to do SOLOI but it seems to be kind of a PITA and expensive. Not to mention that there is not a whole lot of SCCA events in New England. COM is actually Corvette Owners of Massachusetts but they let everyone in and have been doing so for many years. $30 per year, and if you register for an event it is 150 dollars. You need to go for class time and then some laps with an instructor to get your licenses. After that you can go out for time trials on the road courses. Let me dig up the link......

Well it's not college, it's vocational and I realize it doesn't come with guarantees but I'm going to do my best to get out of where I'm at because it is not in the least satisfying. They do offer tuition reimbursement but only if it's job related. Underwater fiber optics and engineering unfortunately are not my interests at this time. :D Besides, I'm looking to make this transition sooner than 4-8 years down the road. Really, I don't know why I'm worrying because nothing's been said to me yet. I will keep my eyes and ears peeled for other opportunties should they turn out to be asses though.

I have lossed interest in most of the dealings of this site. Its become like cable TV in that there is 200 channels with nothing good on and its mostly commercials any ways.

Dan and Posuer can answer most any basic to moderate audio question, the overall perfomance community seems to have gone to ricers and the Great Nick battle. Turbo questions and answers can typicly be found archived and there are plenty of people as knowledgable as I am around these days. Appearce orriented mods and questions seem to be overwleming the site and thats some crap that I just can't stand. The sad part is that I am not really interested in the Subaru community, atleast not yet. So I have been mainly giving it a rest here and only comming around on occation.

I've made some buds and I am happy with it staying like that. I was actualy thinking of ducking out of being an audi mod as I am just not around that often any more. However on the other hand I would like to be another Super mod like Linux and Dino (I should have said yes when I have the chance) becuase I would love to just proon the hell out of some threads that could actualy be useful instead of letting them go to shit.

I think I might go to New England Dragway tomorrow night and see what kind of numbers I can put down. Basically I want to see how well I can drive. Not too concerned with the cars performance.

I personaly think dividing up the MSP section was the worst mistake ever. I would have prefered that those that wanted all MSP all the time to simply leave the boards. I joined clubprotege recently. I like the limited BS over there.

I went for a job interview with Macy*s in Boston yesterday but I dont want the job after learning about it. Lots of travel while training the first 8 weeks and you dont know where you'll get placed until 6 weeks into the program. (smash) So I could end up anywhere in the Northeast and have to travel pretty much anywhere in the Northeast on a day to day basis for training.

I would get paid the same amount I do now so f that. I did get free lunch though and I got to spend the day in Boston (thumb)

did they have any dyno links or anything? I know the Vishnu computer that comes fully tuned can add about 30 whp and adding the tubro back exhuast adds another 30 whp when used with the Xede EMS. You get both for $2200 and there are a ton of people loving it. There are even reports of increased gas millage by as much as 4 mpg.
