Wilma, after undergoing a stunning intensification overnight, is now a potentially catastrophic Category 5 hurricane packing sustained winds of 175 mph. The eye of the violent storm continues to follow a wobbling WNW track through the western Caribbean with a turn toward the NW expected during the next 24 hours.


Fluctuations in intensity are likely, but Wilma is forecast to remain an extremely dangerous Category 5 hurricane through Thursday. The projected track of the storm takes it through the Yucatan Channel into the extreme southern Gulf of Mexico Friday. After that, Wilma is expected to come under the influence of westerly winds aloft blowing across the Gulf. That should hurl the hurricane toward the Florida Peninsula, probably the southern part of the peninsula, this weekend. Wilma is expected to be weakening by then, but weakening is a relative term and Wilma may still be a major hurricane (winds over 110 mph) when it makes landfall.

its called the hacker diet. we've discussed it to death in here, but i will give you the jist of it. basically, its the most simplistic form of weight loss there is. 1 pound of fat = 3500 calories, so if you eat 3500 calories less than you burn, you lose 1 pound. works in reverse too. if you eat 3500 calories more than you burn, you gain 1 pound. so i figured out approximately how many calories my body burns per day (they have a chart) and then worked backwards, i decided i wanted to lose about 70 pounds in about a year, so that comes out to about 1.5 pounds per week for a year to reach my goal weight. working with the 3500 calories/pound number, that means i have to eat 5250 less calories than i burn per week, or 750/day. since i figured i burn about 2250/day, i cut my calorie intake to 1500. thats basically it.

i recommend reading the book i posted above to get a better understanding, but its working really well for me.

Tammy's retirement money is actually just sitting there. she's not putting anymore in, and isnt vested for another 3 years. her employer match is shit, and mine is good, so we decided that instead of doing like 2% in hers and 3% in mine, just do the full 5% outta mine (we make almost exactly the same amount) and then in 3 years withdraw hers and throw it into mine.

I dont believe that you can combine her retirement money into yours. Since it is in her name it cannot simply be rolled over to your account, its not portable...
