Well, I did the oh too famous, break a needle on the cluster trick. This is for the fuel gauge. If anyone has a 3rd gen cluster available for sale, I am interested. I am going to call around to some junkyards in the morning to see if I can find one. There has got to be a f'n way to fix these damn needles!
I actually had the reverse indiglo overlay over the temp and fuel gauges without breaking a needle, but being the dumbass that I am sometimes, I forgot to take the screws out that hold down the overlay. So, in trying to take it back off to take out the screws, POP, there went the fuel needle.
So, if anyone has a hookup on the cluster, let me know:

That whole mini commercial. . . priceless
one drop of well-placed epoxy glue... would it work? I've never tried but it seems like a logical thing to attempt... perhaps even reinforce with a toothpick or something (on the BACK of the needle, the Nardi-look wooden needle approach...)
