Are your front door panels bent?

Hey.. check out your front interior door panels.. and see if the space between the pocket and the armrest has a vertical line..

Looks like a crease or bending of plastic.... discoloration from straining/stretching the plastic..

I was gonna have mine replaced.. but it seems that even the replacement pieces have the same problem..

Bring it up with your dealer and post up what they say..

I noticed that mine was like that a couple of weeks ago, not all that worried about it, try some interior cleaner.

I think someone else was complaining about this. IIRC, they got their panel replaced under warranty (they had a white line across it from it being bent, probably at port while the speakers were being installed, if I had to guess.)

My 2002 Protege5 had the same line you are talking about ,on both front doors ,I thought it was a defect until I wen't to a couple of dealers and checked out more p5's ,they all have the lines . A couple of armouralls later and they fade away.

yeh i noticed it on my front passenger door. i mentioned it to the salesperson but he never did anything about it. when i washed my car the first time i wiped the inside with some foam stuff to protect the vinyl and it hasn't shown since. btw, did i mention that an old fart bumped my car from behind? my poor black msp...(sad2) (sad1)
