After 2.5 weeks in the shop, I finally got my P5 back. They replaced:
- bumper cover
- driver front fender
- polished wheel
- tire
- left lower control arm
- removed, painted and re-installed a bunch of front end bits
Looks like new (it should, only had it 2 weeks before it was hit) and drives like new. Cost the insurance company $2636.09.
Here's whole sordid tale of how it happend in the first place. (http://www.protege5.com/vbb225/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15336&highlight=dinged+tour+bus)
I'm so freakin' happy! Even left work (and came back) to take the wife home when she said she was feeling "sick". I think she just wanted a ride.
Insurance still trying to track down the bus that hit it. BUT I HAVE MY CAR BACK!! Now my '87 SAAB SPG will go back to being neglected. I feel bad for it, but hey, when you got a new P5, what're you gonna do?
