View Full Version : Ever tried to get at your rear Strut tower?

I tell ya they couldnt have buried the thing anymore i dont think...looked in the trunk behind the interior, nope....was hoping it wasnt in the back deck behind the rear window...sure enough! Pull off the cover, then its buried under the damn seatbelt holders!!!! I tell ya Mazda is horrible with the bloody interlocking and burying $h!t! And is anyone else sick of the damn little plastic punch tab pieces of crap? Those things are everywhere! Im starting to wonder if our entire car is held together by those LOL

yes they actually are the same clips that are holding the head of your engine on and holding your brakes calipers to the rotors. ;)

I thought they used velcro strips to hold the head on.

eather get used to em or buy a 67 chevelle or somthing, back when they used these things called bolts and steel.

I think 4/5 of those clips behind the rear seats holding on the top deck lid are broken. Pain in the ass ! I always forget how to take them out and put them back in properly so they break. haah

dang, it ain't rocket science!, just use the smallest flat head screw driver you can find, pop out the middle part, then use your fingers to pull the ring that surrounds it, geez...to put them back in, push it in, then push the middle part...:wtf:
