4 YES 4 MSPs at the dealer

You read correctly. There are currently 4 MSPs sitting at the dealer where I bought my car from. 2 blacks and an orange one in the showroom and a newly delivered black one (sitting outside) today. I know that the 1st black one has been sitting there at least 3 months.

Why noone has bought them yet is beyond me.

I sure hope that noone is still "waiting" to get theirs!
It may just be worth your while to drive/fly out here and get one.

I wish I wouldnt loose so much money trading in my P5, or I would wait till they got their new models and but the leftovers. Plus I'd miss my P5 like crazy.

all this kinda makes the MSP seem less special. Its one thing for them to be extending the production to multiple 2003.5 batches, that makes it less limited, but still special.....but the fact that the first batch is hardly flying off the showroom floors.....:(

...Just means it's that much more likely that a black MSP will be waiting for me when I can afford to pick one up in early summer. :o

I bought mine because it was the only one they had. I would have waited another month or so but the dealer insisted it was the only one. Well now the dealer has 4 of them also. Love how they tell you stories. Plus, other dealers around here have them too. I thought they only made 1750 of them. If so then where are they all coming from?

This is just sad. I drove by the Mazda dealer last night and they have 5 2003 MSP's!!! 3 spicy's and 2 black. On top of that they have 2 yellow 2003.5's. Now I know for a fact they have had the 2003's since March. I think it's time I go down there and take one off thier hands...cheap!

That's the one. 1 spicy in the show room...2 more around the side with 2 black ones. I tried buying my P5 there last year but they kinda rubbed me the wrong way so I went home to find mine. I guess I'm going to give them another shot. They have to be dealing those out at a discount now.

Also Doc if you back to bommarito ask for Greg Martin he was the salesman that helped me out, he seems like a cool guy. The last time I went buy there, they also had a yelow and titanium 2003.5 on the lot.

School...HaHa!!! Been in STL for almost 3 years now and my life is school and my wife. I have'nt been hanging out basically because I don't know anyone and I haven't had the time. But try south Lindberg there's always guys running around Ronnie's theater and that area. There's gotta be someone on this board that knows. And the titanium was gone but they had another yellow.

i can't believe all these MSP's are just sitting there.. i thought more ppl wanted them.. i know if they'd get more here they would sell... the dealership i bought from only has 1 blk 2003, and 1 yellow 2003.5 left. they sold all the rest. i would've like to wait a month or two to get a larger down payment and try to sell my old car outright, but this girl was looking at my car too.. she came in to buy it 2 days after i finalized the deal. she picked up a black one though...
how many of the 2003.5's have been made now since they made another batch?

the first dealer i went to had a black and a yellow one. The other dealer, where i bought mine, had the black one i got, an orange, and a yellow.

EDIT: the dealerships probably have so many each, since only like 200 something dealerships in the US got qualified to sell them. At least, thats what the sales manager told me.

my dealer is supposedly the biggest mazda dealer in the united states but the tech guy i talked to knew nothing of the hesitation i told him id show him and he was stunned

Capitol Mazda in Richmond, Va has 7 on their lot. 3 titaniums. 2 yellow and 2 black.

was at Schwartz Mazda today in Shrewsbury and i only saw one Yellow MSP. u know, the yellow aint that bad, but for me, nothing beats the uniqueness of the orange...i like being different...

18,500? damn.. i paid 17,886.25, plus tax, and title. That was with S plan, and 1500 rebate..

I think the word is out on the stumble problems... if mazda doesnt fix it, then there goes our resale... :(

tax here is 6%... so i paid about 1grand in taxes. Selling price was 21,195 cuz of the destination/delivery. 1500 cash back makes it 19695, so S plan was 1800 bucks. Dunno if i coulda negotiated 1800 down...:)
I think i got a good deal, considering people still dont believe my car is stock, and has all the stuff done to it... Makes me very happy when i tell people over and over that yes it stock..

Hell if you are in VA they have at leat 6 at the dealer near me. "ALL"the colors. Richmond Highway in Alexandria VA.

The dealer near me has about 6.. black, orange, yellow... all of 'em..
the dealer in Fairfax (about 10 min from me) has 'em all also.. even had a blue mp3 on the used lot..

Thought I'd chime in here... Dealership in north Austin has three orange, four black, three yellow, two titanium.

Dealership in south Austin has five orange, one black, six yellows, four titaniums.

I see....sellin' like hotcakes! Anyways STLBLK I have class all weekend and the only free time I have sunday afternoon will be spent on a golf coarse to recapture my sanity. But I would meet up and go if I had more time. Take some pics and we'll meet up some time. I would like to ride in your MSP...maybe it will motivate me to get to the dealership and get one.

thanks man. I am going to try at a richmond dealer first because I am going there to visit my sister today and were are gonna go to 2 dealers and see what they offer and hopefully I could have my speed by Wednesday.
