I know there is a write-up by 122 Vega already (which is the resource I initally used), but i believe this write-up is a little more inclusive. Let me know what you think.
thanks

Very well written.
Up to know, i still can't find the 'kill button' to turn off the alarm if the keyless entry doesn't work?.
They said it's somewhere under the dash, but i looked for it and can't find it. Even with your pictures i still can't find it.
Where is it?
How long did it take you to install everything?

is there a wire that is activated by the keylock? like i mean when you take the key out, is there a wire that gets positive voltage? if so, which i think there is (whatever activates the green courtsey light), i was thinking of riggin up a 555 timer circuit to the door lock button so after like...30 seconds (or whatever, adjustable by variable resistor)after taking the key out of the ignition, the doors will lock.
sorry if this is messed up, but im just throwing out ideas, and its 2:15 and im tired and if it was warmer outside id actually go out there and fuck with the stuff but :(

Limited Edition:
I did not look for the 'kill button' soo I can't help you there...sorry
Vicocola:
I cannot lock the car/set the alarm with the alarm remote when the timer is running (or even when the car is running without the turbo timer for that matter)
Dexter:
I'm sure there is a wire that senses the keylock, but I'm not sure which one it is...your idea sounds good, but I think I may have a better idea (based off of yours). Go to an authorized Code Alarm dealer/installer and they might be able to set the alarm so it automatically arms the alarm after the car has been shut off for a certain amount of time (30 seconds I believe). I have an older Code Alarm on my CRX and there is an option to have it automatically arm after the car has shut off...I'm not sure if the MSP code alarm alows this, but it is somthing that might be worth looking into.

If you can't lock the lock, then what's the purpose of having a TT?

see the edit in bold type....you can manually lock the doors with the key or the power door lock switch on the door, you just can't use the alarm remote.

question: When connecting the wires underneath the steering wheel coloumn you are just intergrating the timer wires and not servering the ignition wires to connect the other wires, correct?

Well, sort of....
I did not "sever" the ignition wires, but they were stripped for a short length. Then I took the wires from the turbo timer and soldered them to the ignition wires and covered everything nicely with electrical tape.

Start the car, or turn the key to the on position. That will stop it.

Hi everyone,
I have not done anything on cars before, but this install seems quite easy. I just had a few questions before I attempted to do this myself:
1) Where do I buy extra vac hose to replace the original one? Do I purchase it from any Kragen, AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc..?
2) How hard is it to make a hole in the rubber grommet? and what did you guys use to make the hole?
3) When tapping into the ignition wires, could I just use T-tap type things from Radio Shack? or would you highly recommend soldering?
4) When warrantee work is needed, do you just replace the original vac hose? or do you need to completely remove the TT including the wire tapping into the ignition?
Thanks in advance.

1) Pretty much any auto store has 3/16 vac hose.
2) Use a screwdriver or a knife or a carrot. it doesn't matter, just poke through the rubber.
3) T-taps are okay but the best thing to do (non-permanently like solder) would be bare about .5" of wire and split it in two with a toothpick or something small to create a well.. hole in between the wires. Put the TT wire in the hole and wrap it around the other wires. Make sense?
4) I don't ever remove my timer for warranty work. Ever. A timer cannot cause issues other than electrical if not installed properly.
5) Thanks for searching instead of starting a new thread.

Wow never heard of anyone doing that. After this is done then wrap it with electrical tape, I'm assuming.

i cant find a 3/16 vac line , i found a 3/16 fuel line hose, would that work at that spot too? i looked at autozone, craigan, and pepboys!

I imagine everthing will work fine if it isn't soldered. IIRC, my blitz dcII tt came with electrical T taps for the ignition wires. I soldered mine in and it was a PITA.

ok well i finished installing my blitz dual turbo timer today but i discovered a huge problem, the cars rpms drop greatly after taking the keys out of the ignition, sometimes the timer catches and brings it back to normal and sometimes the car just shuts off and the timer just counts down with the car off, i'd appreciate any help you guys could give me

i know this thread is old. i am currantly trying to install my blitz dctt. from what i have herd it sounds like i will need to cut the three prong connector off of the blitz supplied harness and tap into the ignition harness?
if i follow the writeup from the first post should everything work fine? are there any grimlins that may arise if i tap into the same exact wires?

Cut blue white wire at keyless module. It basically behind your back seats, you have to lower your back seats, take off the pushpins under the tray. It should be almost dead center underneath the plastic. Cut the blue and white wire and tape up the ends. Heres a picture of the location http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=39687 Make sure its the BLUE AND WHITE wire, there are 3 blue wires there and theres a blue and grey one, so dont get them confused.
Then underneath the dash on the drivers side theres the alarm module. Cut the pin 6 orange wire at the alarm brain 2 inches up (diagram on bottom of alarm) then take the alarm side of the wire (the side of the wire still connected to the alarm) and tap it into the thick black orange wire coming out of the alarm harness. Then tape up the car side of the orange wire.
