Its finally here, wow. i just picked it up last night and drove about 50km then took it to the auto show here in edmonton which started today. i was down there an hour ago and had a hard time convincing people thats the way it comes stock. i like the colour (orange) under the lights but in the dark well i don`t know. each time i walk up to it, it looks better and better. i want to thank the dealership for actually getting this car for a 18 year old car nut. only thing i can say is i need just a bit more power and drop springs about 1.5" drop does anyone know were i can get a set of springs? :) :) :)

no its not my first manual. i do love the feel of the clutch though, is it cause its new or is cause its the upgraded clutch? my car didn`t come with mazdaspeed floor mats, did the dealer jack em and put regular ones back in? other than that little thing i have to bitch at some ashole who tried to jack up my sparko knob at the autoshow today! i was showing a friend the sub and i noticed a guy sit in my car so i watched em and sure enough off comes the shifter so i walked around to him and was like what f*ck u triin to do put that ficken thing back on right the f*ck now... he did.. to make a long story short i felt like hospitilizing this bitch...but didn`t want to get kicked outta the show

congrats on the car, i got mine on the 26 of feb. actually when the car was still in the show room of the dealership, some punks jacked the sparco knob; but eventually replaced it. yeah the dealer probably did jack your mats. go slap them and demand them.

Didn't the thing about the missing floormats happen with the MP3's in Canada too?

it's a canada thing. seems like everyone in canada got protege floor mats. if you wanted mazdaspeed ones then u shoulda bought it in the US. :D
i'm sure you can get them aftermarket soon.

you can buy the mats from www.mazdasouth.com the msp's in canada do not come with the msp mats...not a big difference as I have a set for the MSP which may be for sale if I buy the IS300 on the weekend and forget about the msp

So is the floor mats the only thing my car didn`t come with or are there other differences in the Canada model as compared to US?

Mazdaspeed Boy..
Congratulations on your purchase.
All Canadian MSP's do not get the 'MAZDASPEED' Mats... The Mp3's back in '01 never got the 'mp3' mats either. It's a Canadian thing. I don't know who takes them, but none of us Canadian's get it. So, don't worry about it too much.
At the show, why did you leave the car door's open for people to sit in? You should just keep the door's lock so no one can sit in it. That's what i'd do.
Got pictures from the show?

Hey MazdaSpeed Boy!
I live in Edmonton too and I was checking out your car at the car show. Was it in the bottom part called Speedlane? Pretty damn nice.
By the way, where do you live? I think I seen you on the streets a couple of times. I'd love to meet up and check out your car and the system, maybe you could take me for a spin in it ;)
Just get back to me man. I'm a big Mazdaspeed fanatic and I'd love to see yours.
