i finally fixed the garage door and cleaned out whatever i had to in the garage. i use the term garage here very loosely; its more like a big shack.

yes the pinstripe is peeling off...i put it back on, because im not sure if i want to get rid of em, but i think i do....
it took me a good 10 minutes to get used to trying to get the car in the garage because of this BASTARD:
http://www.smokinmhz.net/mazdaspeed/garage/grade.jpg
its really steep and stupid. i had maybe 1-1.5" clearance on the bottom, i kept getting out and checking to make sure id fit without scraping.
whoever made this garage was a moron.
k im done. :)

Is that pinstripe just something the dealer installed to bump the price up a lot? I hate those things! I'd ditch it, the car is already beautiful :)

Ugh, ditch the pinstripe. It's awful. If you really want one, a painted one is the only way to go.

How do you open the door to get out of your car? That's a tight sqeeze! Do you have to push it in? :D

I believe the MSP is pushed in to the garage by hand, and is left in neutral, and he puts bricks in front of the wheels. When he leaves, he pushes the car back out.
Well; what do you think? A possibility?!

Is it just me or does your liscense plate say T44 and then 1968. dont worry i will not do anything crazy with this info. hehe. Is that symbolic of something like you had a T44 on something and you was born in 68 or what?
Dexter
02-05-2003, 05:32 PM
nope, just random numbers.
I had to paint my calipers in a garage as tight as that.....not fun.
I feel your pain.

Pretty cool for random numbers...hope some fast as supra or something dosn't think you switched the turbo to a T44 and trys to race you. Thats a nice size turbo
Dexter
02-05-2003, 05:39 PM
i was not aware that T44 was a turbo type/size. lol

Well I hope I'm right cause that would make me feel pretty darn stupid. Someone want to tell me that t44 is a turbo size/type.

Why not clean up the garage by getting rid of all those junk?
Cleaning up doesn't mean push everything aside....
if you get rid of all that junk i'm sure you can use that space to vaccum or wax in that garage of yours...

unfortnately, there's no sunroof....
so, you can't possibility get out through there.....
Or better yet, just climb though the windows, they are big enough. ;)

yeah Limited, only problem is that its not my garage, or my stuff. its my grandpas, and he doesnt even want me to use it at all, so ... i just moved the stuff as little as i could.

yea, at least he has a roof over it. mine sits in a dirt (mud) driveway exposed to falling branches, precipitation, all the new england elements have to offer, not to mention my cat's jackass self running laps on the hood with his muddy paws......
im currently shoppin for a car cover but my parts dept at my dealer said they dont make one for the protege so im not sure which route im gonna go.

surpirsing it has fallen apart,
at 202060 miles
it is in the process of falling apart
currently it is held together with JD-WELD, expanding foam, and hope
last time I jacked it up the body almost bent, it started groaning and sinking down around the jack

Yikes, 206000 miles? My Asuna Sunfire (same basic chassis, engine, bodyshell) is falling apart at 140,000 kms (thats like 85000 miles). I couldn't imagine keeping the car as long as you have!
