My DBC Spec-R. Running 9 psi now and all I have to say is . . . I need a downpipe and testpipes! Dont get me wrong I can really tell the difference now and its badass but its plugged up. Questions comments?? by the way i dont have a digital camera so when I go to my friends house tomorrow I will take pics of that and my boost gauge.

Can you give a quick rundown of how you installed it? Where does the solenoid go? How can you tell it's "plugged up"?

Thanks,
Jason

No the mid range lacks bad.
Its a Blitz DBC Spec-R. Blitz is the best boost controllers ever. They come COMPLETE I MEAN COMPLETE! never have to buy parts. The install, how i did it was:

Took off the Air box, Made a custom bracket, Mounted the Soleniod box under the air box, Ran a line from the wastegate to the soleniod, ran a line from the soleniod to the factory T I disconneted at the blowoff valve that ran to the wastegate, Ran my lines across the firewall to the grommet under the pass. floorboard (where I ran my boost gauge wires). Going to mount it below my stero in that pocket, also where i am mounting my TT. It is Stealthy, Unless U really look for it you cant find it.

Now anyone have a downpipe yet????

Can you install this without interferring with any of the tamper type clamps/Facory ecu? If you can, and wind up having problems later(warranty Transmision Engine...) can you remove it and the dealer would never know?(put it back to stock and take it in)

yeah, but he's only reading .7 bar ~10.29psi
But that is still above the supposed boost limit of 10psi in the MSP ecu.

what's with the date in the bottom right?
11.6.1999

havent' set the time on your new camera yet, or are you trying to fool us with your 99 Protege that you painted orange?

haha. Nope that is from spiking when I was messing with the gain. And its real cold right now. I am running a constant .65-.67 bar now. The DBC Spec-R has a warning feature that if it gets to 6.9 it drops the boost to stock. Daily driving I turn it off. No point in going out for that.
oh .69 = 10 psi. My friend has a wind band so we are going to hook that up and see how its doing. oh yea that boost gauge reads about .05 to .1 higher.

Yeah who said that the MSP had fuel cut a 10 PSI? Would this be a person who has boosted up yet?

No.

Crank up your boost, see if you can hit the cut. FOR SCIENCE!

Just try 1 bar... that should be sufficient.
