Install of my tt

I attempted yesterday to install my Hks type 0 turbo timer. I look in the 1st gen ms3 section and there's a diy on installing the hks turbo timers. So I'm thinking great, they wouldn't change the wire colors for ignition, acc, and the ebrake wire. After spending 3 hours trying to find the right colors listed in the diy I concluded that they didn't exist. None of the wires listed in the diy were on the 2010. Ah well atleast I tried. So if anyone is thinking about installing a Tt, get a wiring diagram first because you cannot use the diy to any benefit.

Have you tried looking for a service manual that shows you the wiring diagram? You might be able convince someone to let you get on ALLDATA surely you'll find it there.

Well I'm thinking about wiring it right from the Fuse box... Theres a diagram for the fuse box that shows every wire and where it goes. I'm wondering if the ignition wire goes through there also though? Any input?

acc wires are GENERALLY pink.
you should be able to look for the ebrake one by taking out the consol in the centre and looking at the ebrake itself. As for the ignition, your on your own...havent had to go there yet
