Question regarding wheel fitment:
I'm looking at a used set of wheels, 17 by 7.5" ET 40 with 235/50/17 Blizzaks LM-22.
Do you guys think they will fit on stock suspension MS3?
Thanks

the 235 is going to really push it. Esp with that offset. You get better snow traction with narrower tires anyway.

235's are waaay too wide. they will fit, but that tire is far beyond the width that is recommended.

Yes this was my concern. I'm having trouble finding a used set with my desired specs. Looks like Tirerack will be my last resort if nothing materializes in the next 3-4 weeks. So would 225's be okay with that offset?

Go with 215-55's
225's are still too wide for winter tires.

I'm placing an order for the following:
4 Kosei K1 TS, 17 by 7" wheels painted silver, with 4 Dunlop Wintersport M3's in 215/50/17 all for $1234.00 shipped to my door. The wheels are atually 13.7 lbs. each which is unreal and will also serve as my track wheels come spring. Thanks for the responses.

here's my 17x7.5 with 215/50s if you want an idea of what to expect.

You can go 17x7-8.5 with +50 to +45 offset with 235's easy. Lower offset than that, you'll want to roll your fenders.

RPF-1's are money and ballin rims for winter and/or track, but for $149.00 a piece the Kosei's are a better buy for me.

If you're just going to use these wheels for winter, might as well just find 17" MZ6 or MZ3 wheels. You'll be able to find them maybe on the forums or on Craigslist.

Believe me I have been trying to find M3 wheels everywhere and haven't yet. I want to track the car next year so hence the lightweight dual purpose wheel search.
