Is there a thread on how much people are paying for 09's & 10 MS3 ?
Pls point me to it if there is .
I'm curious what you think a new '09 Gran Touring should sell for presently .
Thanks

New 09 GT's with little options should sell for +/- 20K right now.

I bought mine 6 mos ago for $21.5K before tax and tags

I bought my '09 GT for 23k in February. I'd think prices for the '09s would have dropped a little now.

My dealership was only doing $1700 off the GT model when I asked them last week. They aren't budging on the prices for the last years model at all. Coincidentally the same 3 Speeds have been sitting there for the last 4 months.

Maybe you would be better off going for a 2010. If the 2009 is not a steal don't deal, or deal to get a steal, or---I'm getting a headache!!!

^ i agree, if they don't give you an awesome deal on an 09 (because it is basically outdated now that the '10 is out) than i'd get a 2010 instead. especially on lot lizards that have been sitting there for a while...try to get one at the end of the month, the bargaining will be easier

Yeah, hit them up at the end of the month (28th-30th). Look inside the driver's door and see when it was made. A "2009" could have been manufactured as long ago as spring-2008, so your "new" car might be close to 2 years old already. Definitely something to use against them.

And if you really want to get them, get them to the lowest price they won't budge from, verbally agree, then when you're in the office and they've started printing out those miles of paperwork, say "nah, I've changed my mind. I know you can come lower." Get up and walk out before signing a damn thing, but after they've gone through the trouble. I've heard this works wonders on getting the price down (I need to start doing this myself in the future).
