I've done a few special ops and got 3 stars on like three of them. The undercover agent in the airport board was a standout moment in gaming for me, f'n awesome! I play online aleast an hour a day, but I was a WaW junkie for awhile.

I have no idea, it just seems that they respawn when they're all killed and you do it all over again.

i havent seen the tactical nuke yet. I wanna see it sooooo bad!! the best kill streak I used was when i was an AC-130 gunner. I don't wanna spend the kill streak points to unlock the nuke cuz i don't think ill be able to get a 25 kill steak. (gun)

ive seen it 4 times. been on the wrong side once.

the kids name was dilman82 i believe. he had 14 going into the match when I was playing with him. and he had gotten it 4 times out of the 5 games I was in his lobby.

As much as it sucked it was cool everytime.

it goes by levels. if u notice .. on the very top right corner it switches between saying to things either " number u unlocked/ 15"
then it says " next unlock in Xnumber levels "

I don't play, but my brother does...he is level 70 and has had a 42 kill streak which is his longest...I know nothing about the game really, but from watching he kills a bunch of people and then uses all these helicopter attacks...he currently has approximately 78 hours of online play...

underpass is not ideal for trying to achieve a nuke. You want an open map where people spawn out in the open, and you want people on your team who are willing to help you achieve the nuke, like telling you where people spawn and where they are coming from, i got REALLY lucky. I haven't gotten a second one, but i've only been playing HC HQ lately so haven't really been trying for one.

Played nonstop for an entire week over my xmas break lol. Got pretty good and usually top 3 score. Level 42. Now back to studying all day /:. Anyway very clean running (frame rate)and fun game but its not very balanced like other shooters in terms of gameplay.

This IS a discussion thread so here is my "review."

Reasons I don't like . . . Can't customize rooms or pick maps. Played derail and wasteland 1000000 times and I hate those camping maps. Many of the maps become a clusterfest where everyone runs to the same spot over and over. If you try and sneak around you will most likely get nailed by an air strike, HR monitor camper, or have someone spawn up your ass and knife you.

Would love to turn off HR monitor and air strikes. The knife / airstrikes are too much. No skill. Not to mention you knife people so easily. Fascilitates camping which is what most people do. You die so fast that whoever gets first shot off wins 9/10 times. Yeah I guess thats more "realistic" but it just adds to the camping. A little more health would be nice so people with the best aim / skill win.

Sniping is pretty lame. Should be 1 shot kills on waste up hits. I used the WA2000 on estate. Sniped everyone running to the house. I get like 8 assists when I snipe because I can never manage to shoot people 2-3 times.You can take 2 shots to the chest with a barret .50 cal sniper and still sprint across the map but you cant take a pocket knife in your arm. . . Not to mention if the person sees you he just sticks the red dot over you while you are 200 yards away / open fires and your dead instantly.


Anyway sorry for the rant but this is a "discussion" thread :). The game is very well founded. The host migration is nice and everything is fast and smooth. Also love how you can skip the intro / flashing logo and join games very fast. For the casual gamer its a fun play but for the avid gamer looking for skillfull satisfaction . . . I think it leaves that level of play to be desired unlike some of the classics like halo 1, socom 2, or even newer games like rainbow six vegas 2.

Anyway I know this is a popular game so don't kill me ! Its just an opinion. It must be fun if andy murray (#3 tennis player) lost his girlfriend kim sears over it.

Looked it up, ya it is. I fucking HATE that one. I've seriously done it 50+ times, no joke. The damn juggs kept getting me after I got the intel. I never wanna do it again.

Sniper riffles take out juggs faster than anything but you gotta hit them every time, if you're playing vet anyways, cause the first time u miss, they start shooting and boom, dead.

You can't do a run through on vet, its impossible, their aim is perfect and every shoot gets you, its insane.

Oh yeah, you know that one mission where you have to run through the locker room of the gulag into the hole in the showers? IW's best time is 16secs flat, me and my buddy did it in 15.80 and he then did it by himself at 14.95 or some shit.

If you go through the spec opps and look at IW's best time, most of them are insane times for what you have to do so we felt pretty badass :D

Snatch & Grab is the toughest Spec Ops one I've found. There's a few otehr tough ones, but two competent guys can take out 90% of them.

I really liked the sniper mission and the one that has 45 guys at the Estate. It was a long mission, but fun to sniff guys out and have to defend against the Juggies.

What did you do to get that time? Spray & Pray while sprinting for the hole.

To get the time, you gotta use your stun in the right places.

Grab the auto shot gun before the breach, and using two people, have one throw a stun in the middle of room one, then run around the sides into the next room and throw another stun and run along the sides again. Shoot anyone who might kill you and hope the riot guys don't block the path into the last room or you're done.

Yeah, you can knife em, but it takes a lot more than one knife. lol.

You don't get 100% complete until you beat it on Veteran and collect all 45 intel items.

To get 100%, you have to beat the game on vet and find all 45 intels through out the game.

To get 100% on multiplayer, you just get to lvl 70, thats it but when you presitge, it keeps going. A 10th prestiger told me he was at 1050% or so and he was only a level 15 at the time.

Best way to do Snatch and Grab on vet is to run through using the right path. Only jug you really have to get by is the first one charging you in the field, and you flashbang him. You need to have the left side laptop spawn though. I did it in 1:21.

thats why i HATE team deathmatch... i play head quarters for a couple reason(hard core that is)
1. Easy to get 20-80+ kills a match
2. Easy to do challenges and prestige faster
3. People HAVE to move around in order to win
4. People don't take it as serious as deathmatch and search etc etc.

I've noticed when I'm on a team that is actually trying for objectives (I play domination more than anything) I do quite well. As soon as 2 of em decide to camp, I'm fucked, and we lose. If comeone is on a mic coordinating it goes even better.

my best round to date was wasteland domination. I used a P90 holo, marathon, heavy hitter, and scavenger. about half the team roved, half defended the center area, and I ran from b-c-b-a..etc capturing. I was something like 16-8 with 2500 pts, and most of my kills were 50 pt kills because the guys trying to come after me already had hits from my teammates.

if I've got a couple campers on my team I've gone as bad as 5-40. And as soon as you're doing that bad the other team is killstreaking on you like crazy so you're screwed on helicopters n whatnot.

I'm a Domination fan myself, but I usually try to bounce between 2 of the sites and make sure we're going to hold those down. Again, mic coordination is a huge help here, and if you start playing with a team that knows a thing or two, you can really run other teams.

I still maintain the best time ever is on Favela or Karachi, get a whole team of shields and play, you'll see people get pissed off beyond belief when you run them.

the team part/mic comes into play cuz if i was to run in first and get shot i can tell u or u tell me if u die. then if we go together i watch the right side and u watch the left. if you have the bomb i enter bombsite before you so u dont i get killed instead of you then u come in and u already know were they are at.

amen broddah lol. i only pull out the assault class when theres some type of air support. other than that i run around with the mini uzi and a silencer. best match to date with that combo is 27:6 :)

scar with scavenger is a GREAT combo. there so much stopping power with the scar

I got different classes for different things, like if I wanna be quick status I got the ump w/ marathon, lightweight and commando, or if I wanna be quick but quiet then everything gets silence w/ ninja, same goes for my two sniper classes, assault classes, then I got my newb tube, anti-air and riot sheild classes. Does me right, don't ever have to modify em unless I unlock something better ;)

I like the scar better than the M16.. but yeah even on iron the FAL is respectable. Looking forward to FMJ and stopping power... basically have all the advantages of the barrett plus a shit ton of mobility. Still think its BS that I can lay in a chest shot on the barrett and its not a one shot one kill.

I got different classes for different things, like if I wanna be quick status I got the ump w/ marathon, lightweight and commando, or if I wanna be quick but quiet then everything gets silence w/ ninja, same goes for my two sniper classes, assault classes, then I got my newb tube, anti-air and riot sheild classes. Does me right, don't ever have to modify em unless I unlock something better ;)
I suppose, I redo my classes for offense/defense vs deathmatch.

I've yet to find ninja useful... people are ridiculously unaware, so being silent doesn't do any good unless theres a guy that knows what he's doing with a heartbeat sensor equiped

I play hardcore, ninja is very important. Hell, half my kills are from following the sound of footsteps. In regular though, ninja is pretty useless but to me its either that or commando, the other tier 3 perks aren't that great.

and the javelin was actually good at taking out aircraft once but i get they changed that and it sucks now. I used it a lot and got some sick kills. its best used when there is like a gathering point then u aim the thing at an object close to the enemy and wait for lock on then fire. its pointless as anti air now but good if used like artillery.
once I tried shooting down a harrier.. well it missed but got two enemies anyway (lol2)

think fast is finishing the kill using direct impact of a grenade. theres one for flashbang, and one for stun.

but yes, I did that kill too. on estate with a guy using G18 akimbo. he was laying by the fireplace... after he came back to camp the first time i killed him I hid on the balcony and got him when he came back the 2nd time... stupid ass.

Umm, as far as the prestige go, No, you don't get a slot everytime. You start with 5, and end up with 10 by prestige 9. the first and second prestige give you class slots, the third doesn't, then from there I forget which prestiges do and don't.

i agree, it definitely has a cheapness factor to it.

at the same time, after having it used against me, i think it's definitely something that a person with a decent gun and proper aiming skills can take out without much hassle.

i really like it because a) it's fun to try to get close to someone by maneuvering around various cover locations, and b) it totally gets in the head of the other team (and personally, when i start getting angry in CoD, i play like shit).
