Perfect Diameter for NA MP3

Hi guys, any idea on what should be the perfect and balanced tube size for our MP3 exhaust system.i have a full bolt on stainless steel exhaust system from thunder exhaust system co. and its 2" in diameter. is this good or should i go bigger?
my set up is, Port and Polished cylinder head,iriway spark plugs and a CAI.

anything bigger than 2.5" is way over kill. 2.25" seems to be about the sweet spot.
