disable lows when using flash to pass?

has anybody done this to their cx-7? just installed aftermarket hids and i want my wife to be able to use flash to pass with out activating the lows. i did this in my 3 and i was hoping the turn signal stalk was the same as the 3 but they are different.

any help would be greatly appreciated!
