View Full Version : New Owner Of A 2009 Mazdaspeed 3

I joined some local forums and figured I would join a much larger one as well. Last week I picked up a new Black 2009 MS3 sport and it came with Sirius radio, homelink/autodim mirror, and lojack. I ended up getting it for $20,100 but with taxes/fees it came to $21,866 OTD which I felt was an amazing deal for a brand new one so I couldn't pass it up. I just got 25% tint all around on it the other day and ordered some Michelin X-Ice Xi2 215/45/18 tires for the Colorado snow. This is by far one of the most amazing cars I have owned and I am proud to be in the Mazda community now.

Nice car! When I got mine there were 2 black Sports and 1 gray GT on the lot. I woulda got black if it had been a GT. Enjoy that ride!

Welcome from another newbie. I just got mine on Fri (writing this on Sun) and can't tell you how nice it is to have a car that I bought just because I liked it. Shifter bushings are shortened, working on a short shift plate right now and side moldings are coming off once I get outside this morning. Enjoy your new ride.

Also, maybe read the thread on blown engines, good info in there on torque development characteristics and their implications to these vehicles.

Welcome to the forum. From your forum name I am guessing you do some Autox. Plan on giving your Mazdaspeed 3 a shot at the cones?
