Country Mazda In Huntington Station NY?

Hi, all.

I recently tried to call the Country Mazda service number and got a Country Cadillac recording and the general sales number indicates that as of 10/26 Country Lincoln Mercury will be closed for 7 days due to the "emergency".

Can any confirm that this dealership is/is not open for Mazda?

They were all over the papers two weeks ago (newsday) for not paying their bills. The whole country group(ford, mazda) owes their suppliers and the tax man something close to a million bucks. The feds closed all their dealerraships including mazda. They claim a misunderstanding. Its a shame because I was there in the summer looking for a 9 and the sales staff was very helpful, even though they couln't get me a car. I have a feeling they will reopen under new ownership

Thanks for the explanation. I hope that you are right. The team that worked there in both sales and service - Winston, John, and Herb were good guys. They also provided loaners and comlimentary breakfast for service visits.

Wonder if it is due to the cash for clunkers deal where to federal gov failed to reimburse dealerships for the clunker vehicles after the dealerships sold new cars?

John is working for Garden City Mazda and the service is the worse I ever had. I don't think John ever looked at the car when it was done. I had the car there two times and the problem was not fix, but they made is worse. I had to call Customer Service and I was told to go to Wantagh and I meet the customer service rep. there. With his help and the great team work at Wantagh the job was do right the first time.. HANDS UP FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE,THE REP AND TEAM AT WANTAGH . (attention)

Sounds like a good dealership. Country Mazda offered loaners for service and maintenance. I wonder if they would do the same. Mazdausa shows that they have lots of different Mazda recognitions. I wish there were a good dealer close to Great Neck. Has anyone gone to Smith Cairns? They are closer to my office.

Yes, that's what everyone has confirmed. Pity. Friday my car goes to an indie shop for an oil change and tire rotation.
