you need to download the latest DH software from DH.com and it has all the specific Mazda PIDs.

Yes. Fuel pressure is a "standard" PID (i.e. it is not Mazda specific).

Yeah but, only regular EFI pressure, not DI pressure. DI pressure comes with the dl of new software. The standard load comes with a pile of GM crap we can't use and it'll flash "n/a" (not available) if you select it to display.

I have version 2.4 which I downloaded in February 2008. It displays DI fuel pressure.

Yes but, not with the standard load, which is my point. You had to download it from Dashawk.com.

That's not true. There are 3 different PID's in the SAE J1979 specification for fuel pressure, including one for DI engines.

Here is a quote from the spec:

"FRP shall display fuel rail pressure at the engine when the reading is referenced to atmosphere (gage pressure). Diesel fuel pressure
and gasoline direct injection systems have a higher pressure range than FRP PID $0A."

Yeah, I think yer right, my memory of what it came with and what it didn't may be faulty.

In any case you should update and download the latest software when you get it. 2.51 is the latest version....
