Man I dont know..but it seems everywhere I turn theres so many options for us fast car guys here in the Pacific Northwest. From Seattle to Portland theres alot out there. Specialy Portland..U have Surgeline tuning...PDX tuning...Perrin Performace...Rallitek which is huge for subaru fans...Performance Racing Engineering...Horsepowerfreaks..also in the Portland area across the river in Vancouver you have Corksport..Im wouldnt be surprised if im missing some others..but just to name a few..bottom line wow..lucky to live in this area to beable to drive within couple hours and have a huge access to anything car related. What makes the Northwest such a huge market...maybe its all that dam rain haha...only thing to do..neah..we really dont get as much as rain as people think..We dont have nascar here..even though theres huge support for it..Seattle metro area is around 3.5 million people and Portland is around 2.4 million..so obviosuly theres enough people to support it..There is a huge Asian population in both cities and specialy Vancouver bc too..and were right accross the Pacfic from Japan...so maybe that adds alittle rice to this areas attitude ;)....This post is just a friendly observation from a person who enjoys the car enthusiast market and who lives here. :)

it'd be nice if florida had a little better tuning support for the ms3. looks like im gonna have to make a 4hr drive just to get dyno tuned. hah

yeah that sucks man...kinda bs..cause I see alot of guys on sti or evo and ms3 forums that live in Florida...you would think they would have more support.

theres quite a few sti/evo places here in tampa an surrounding areas, im sure they are about average tuning wise for both not many big name places like surgeline or anything.
the place in orlando about an hour drive tunes speeds but they dont dyno tune. so closest i found that i'd feel comfortable letting tune me is in west palm beach.
actually, both places that dyno tune are in west palm beach haha. but the one place i called an talked to them an they seemed real cool, and the owner of the place his son owns a speed3 from what the dude said an tunes with the AP.
so right after xmas i think its on! (evil)

thats it for the northeast, at least for big name tuners. lots of underground tuning if you have connections

For the Mitsu guys English Racing is here in Vancouver Wa as well. I know of several large name Domestic shops in the Portland Or/Vancouver Wa area as well.

I understand these guys are pretty good for Florida:

They're raising eyebrows on Mazdaspeed forums (built a new turbo kit that raises power past 400 hp mark with a completely different torque curve that should be safe for that power). But they've also apparently got a pretty substantial power increase from a tune on a stock car.

yea except they had to use a turbo the size of a planet to reach it. guys have hit that mark on MSF with a 3076 with tons more area under the curve and a much more streetable setup

this doesn't involve the forum or anything, but I live in CA, and every time I go up to visit the relatives in the seattle-area, I always see tons of WRX's, STI's, and MS3's
