How to remove the flying M?

How do I remove the Flying M on the front grille? Are there clips inside? I felt some clips and tried to move them out but it didn't budge.

Suggestions?

There are 6 little clips I believe. You have to sqeeze em all down at once for the emblem to come out smoothly. I unfortunatly broke one. It also helps to have something to pry it off... you have to use a bit of force... to the point where it is a little uncomfortable.

Yea, I'll probably end up breaking it and go ahead and buy one. My goal was to paint it black. Thanks

I popped mine out. broke 1-2 tabs. painted it reinstalled it. and it stays. Changing the color again went to pop it out. Was stil a pain. almost broke it. (so if you brak a few tabs. dosent always mean you have to buy a new one)

i broke one of my clips as well. i used a little bit of emblem adhesive iirc when reinstalling
