Just picked up 18x8 Konig Runaways in shadow black. Offset is 46mm. Couldnt pass the price up for 4 wheels-488.00...I really wanna go 235/40/18......I have stock suspension...Am I going to rub or not? I could go 225 tire..but really want as much rubber on the ground. I have 0 prabs with rolling rear fenders in the near future..but the tires are going on the car tommorro..so hoping to get by for now with the 235 tire.

I run stock suspension with 18/8.5" +48 rims. I run a 235/40 Dunlop Direzza tire and my left rear hit the fender once or twice. I also had some noodle strings from rubbing but its only the left rear. With your set up I dont think you will have much of a problem. your off set is +46 my rim is .5"s wider and the 2mm offset your rims have still wont make it as flush as my rims are. So with that said i dont think you will rub much if at all at "stock" ride height.

If hankook is still having a sale i would hop on the ventus v12's. I was up in the air between those and the dunlops. I should of went with the hankooks for the extra treadwear.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) I have been researching like tons!!..cause I have to make a decision by tommorro..and from all the forums and whatnot..it seems like 80% of people running 235-40 tires on 18x8 45-48mm offset stock suspension have no rubbing prabs. I will roll my fenders in the future to be safe..but for now was just hoping I would be fine for daily driving.(hi) oh and yes..prabaly leaning towards the hankook Ventus v12 for sure :)

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's are a good tire at a good price. Remember that they are a directional tire.

I was looking in to these same wheels! Can't wait to see them on the car if you post some pics! Hankook v12 are great tires too!!!

Yeah Once I get them installed Ill make pics..I paid 488.00 set of 4 at Perrin Performance..there trying to get rid of all thier wheels..so got pretty dran good price. And then got set of 4 Hankook ventus v12 evo 235-40-18's for 468.00 shipped from online tires...so once tires come in..they will being going on the car :)

heres couple pics of the wheels. The Hankook's are comming in soon. I just couldnt pass up 488.00 for set of 4..after everything is said and done. It will cost me 1000 bucks for wheels-tires-mounted balanced on my car..so pretty stoke cant wait :)

They look good. Are they 5-114.3??? Perrin website only lists 5-100 available...

Fedex just got me my lug nuts 30 min ago. So I made a appointment for 230 to get the wheels and tires installed. Pics will be posted soon after. Yeah Im pretty stoked on the deal myself :)

those are probably the ONLY konigs i like. and if im not mistaken light too. somewhere like 17lbs, good stuff... look forward to pics installed.
