I just got a ms3 about a mouth ago after my msp was totaled. To make a short story i took out the g tech and put it in the ms3. For some reason the damm thing dosent read the RPMs. The device plugs into the lighter(12v outlet).
It reads RPMs, g-force, horsepower, torque, 0-60, 1/4 mile time
Is there someone out there that can help me out there.

Must be a different (possibly newer) unit than my G-Tech. I am fairly certain mine never did read RPM's. But mine dates back to 2004 or 2005. I have never plugged it into the MS3. In fact, it's been in a box in the garage for so long, this may be the first time I have thought about it in the 13 months I have owned the MS3. Maybe I'll go futz around with it this weekend.
If I find that it does, to my surprise, read RPM's, and I can figure out how, I will chime in again later.

ALSO THE HP MEASUREMENTS DO NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT WIND RESISTANCE AND ROLLING RESISTANCE AS THE PERFORMANCE BOX WILL
