I installed the JBarone dashhawk mount this afternoon....in 3 minutes. I put the head on the wrong side, but you get the idea. Great product for me, as I hate obsessing and staring at it on the steering wheel. I just glance now, like my radio. Jamiesplanet.com. Packaged like a pro, with all you need.

Looks clean but how difficult is it to see while driving?

its easy. like looking at your radio. I have alerts set so it will flash for KR and what not. I am going to switch the head and repost some pics later tonight.

what are those...like slipper socks?
i hate this mount...i think it's hideous and it puts that dh in an inopportune place. you don't really need to do much watching the dh while driving, but that just seems weird.
same for his ap mount. fucking snake light on a mounting plate. weird.

that's funny, but i'm definitely not a troll. look at my posts, all however many...i've been helpful for the most part. i've had this car since 2007, and have some mods. i'm here to help.
that dashhawk mount is ugly in my opinion and i stated that.
no trolling, just opinions, now step off.

Everyone can have an opinion, I respect that. I actually like the mount more after having it awhile. I hated sticking my hand thru the wheel to get to the buttons. This way I don't have to reach at all either. The mount is also a lot thicker than a snake lite, top quality for sure. Lastly... Nope just a sock... A thick one... It's Michigan! Lol.

I like the mount but would def mount it on the other side. Under heavy cornering my leg would bash it in 10 million pieces.

Eeewwww! Cut the tails off those zip-ties! Personally, I wouldn't want one that far out of my line-of-sight, but whatever works for you.

You set it up using mazda specific parameters. Plug in your DH to your computer and edit the display parameters and then save profile to DH.
