Jbarone AP mount

I met up with Jbarone on Sunday at the autocross and picked up one of his new AP mounts (http://www.jamiesplanet.com/Mounts/index.htm). This thing is the (boobs). I did not know what to get, I didnt really want to suction a phone mount to the windshield. The mound is very sturdy and well made. I would recommend that anybody with an AP get one of these mounts. Thanks Jamie for making such quality products and great prices.

Looks pretty sweet. I used to lay mine in the center console cup holders.

That is unnecessary. I bought a vent clip cell phome holder off e-bay for $10 shipped, works great.

Which vent do you attach it to? I have a vent pod with a boost gauge in the left vent, and a gps mount on the center vent. I cant even find my way home without my gps sometimes. There just is not enough space for all of it and that is why the AP mount works perfectly for me.

I think if I were to have an AP, I would want it at eye level if possible. Looks like cosmic3 has a good and cheap solution. jbarone's piece looks of great quality though.

The OBD port of the AP is so big. People actually drive with that thing plugged in ?

I understand that a few folks feel it necessary to have it at eye level but I think they look awful. What I was shooting for was a clean, classy look. Believe it or not it's still in view. You should only be looking at it for a second anyway or your gonna kill somebody or yourself. JMHO

Yeah I saw that, sorry I should have been more specific. I was continuing the thread dump and asking about the cheap vent clip mount to 08cosmic.

FYI, The Dashawk mount comes with 2 heads, one for left console and one for right console mounting.
